Thanks for the thorough breakdown, as well as working mostly from the Maschine hardware. Also sincerely appreciate the fact you really drilled down how to do this and that. It's one thing to hear it once, it's another to hear it consistently. We need that repetition. I definitely learned a lot from this video and finally subscribed.
I brought Maschine Studio since 2 years. And I procrastinate to dive in the manual and to work with it. But since I discover your channel I made big progress. Thank for your good advice.
Most times when I'm inspired by someone.. I inspired by the beat.. I don't even care about the how.. But this VIDEO right here.. made me appreciate having a Maschine. I was so moved by the technique and explaination that I got up and turned on my laptop to get into the zone I was just inspired by. You're right on the mark sir..!!! Many thanks...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude... how did I not know you could select all pads from the hardware like that... hahaha! I’ve always just used the software. I LOVE not leaving the hardware. It just feels so much nicer. Thank you for more help staying on the hardware!!!
Hi Jef, fellow fraser valley guy here. For your preferred music style "jazz meets hip hop" would say maschine is a better tool for the creative process when not a keyboard player?
As always quality tutorial, native instruments have to sponsor your channel because you explain the content so much better than native instruments own RU-vid or “official producer “ who gets paid to tell how great the expansion or hardware . if you’re a beginner or a proper producer/engineer can learn new ways of creating sounds. 👍
Hi Jef, did you have a video on how to get the samples out of the libraries. I'm now getting more familiar with maschine and need to start using the sampler more proactively. Thanks for these videos. Very helpful.
Great quality content man, nice. My question is, i hace a maschine mikro mk3 but ive been for long an Ableton Live user. This libraries are only for inside-Maschine Software use? And in that case anyways, once you buy the expansion you just have it to access it from Maschine? or do you have to do some setup with Komplete Kontrol or some? Im not really into the whole Maschine world yet so idk if its worth the buy. Thanks!
Love these NI expansion playsessions! I was wondering, though... Whatcha gpt on that reel-to-reel over in the back? I remember one of my dad's priced reels was a recording of a live Bob Marley jam... Ah, nostalgia.
Actually it’s nothing special... but I got the reel to reel for $20 at the auction for the Amazon Prime show “the man in the high castle”! It works too!
Great videos! Always a pleasure to watch. If you’re looking for a way to add additional sample slices to an existing group via the hardware I think the method described in this video may be what you’re looking for: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j_dtwMae1hc.html
Hey DL, I don't have anything for sale right now, but I'm planning some big things for the next few months. My style is definitely jazz-meets hip hop, so Lo-Fi, Chill Hop, etc are my main jam.
@@jefgibbons to be honest, I want inquiring about the beats in regards to purchasing a beat.i led that first beat.i like your instincts and appreciate your mastery of your craft.i was curious about your discography in order to listen to projects with your style on it. Thanks for responding. Keep up the good work. (That first beat is so late 80's early 90's hip hop.) Salute.
