Thank you Jeff! I could watch and learn from you all day!! You are a beast with it! The only good thing about this coronavirus is that it gives me time where I can create more!
When I bought Komplete Ultimate on Black Friday along with my Maschine a couple years ago around the MK3 release I thought I would be sorted. Then I started seeing the expansions and didn’t really understand that for all that KU is it didn’t include those. These are the first ones I’ve bit on and am still slowly learning the instrument. Happy to catch the deal, 50 bucks a pop is wild. As a bassist and solo guitar guy I’m always justifying my gear purchases as to how many gigs I’d have to play in order to pay them off. Anyway, I’m hopeful I can start to hone these skills into a massive production operation with an unassailable live set. I really like the format and production quality of your videos. Keep up the good work!
Jeff your videos are always inspiring. Love seeing your workflow. I've learnt so many tips watching your videos, even though I've had my maschine for years. Just recently got a komplete keyboard, looking forward to adding that into the mix. Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this - I would love to see a future video explaining some basics of finger drumming, I'm always amazed by how well you do it!
I had two of them already and still got this deal. I sat on it for a few days but just went for it. Even for 7 of them that is a lot of sounds for the price.
I already have 3 of these (thanks to your videos 🤣). That’s still a good deal for the other 6 expansions. This is also a great how-to on using Maschine. Thanks Jef!
Hi Jeff ! Thx for your always well explained and attractive and inspiring videos. Could give a quick and efficient way to manage and trigger Maschine software sounds and patterns from ableton live 10? I would like to: -import Maschine patterns in Ableton life in MIDI to be able to modify them (for instance the demo ones) - Be able to trigger Maschine patterns when I need them to start in the arrangement view of Ableton I know there is an icon allowing this in Maschine 2.x but this requires longer manips after drag and drop in Ableton tracks to assign each sound to separate midi channels I wondered whether there was an easier way.... Thx for your lights and take care ! Francois Chavalle, from Belgium, a passionate NI (but not only) musicians
Amazing videos, high quality and good slow speaking for us like are learning english too. hope to watch one mastering and mixing tutorial on Maschine MK3 soon . this quarentine I'll learning to much. thanks Brother. Greetings from Colombia...
Thanks for the walk through! How often does NI put bundles on sale like this. Trying to decide if I should jump on it or not. Also: You should put together a video of how you use the Maschine MK3, Jam and you're S61 together!
I don't think they have too many like this, I found one old deal. Yeah I'd also like to see those videos! www.kvraudio.com/news/native-instruments-offer-get-battery-4-for-free-when-you-buy-any-two-expansions-40928
@@jefgibbons I've had my Jam sitting by my Maschine and almost never reach for it. I'm trying to include it in my workflow ... A vid using them in tandem would be huuuuge..lol Love the vids. TY. #djrtnyc
Jeff, thanks again for another inspiring video. How do you configured your Maschine controller? I was always asking what settings you are using for the sensitivity level of the pads? Maybe you can put that into a section of one of your next videos…? Would highly appreciate it. Also what do you think about Battery 4? I bought the expansion bundle including Battery. This might be a powerful tool, but seems also to be a bit complex to use. Have you any experiences with it? Maybe you make a little tutorial for this too? Just mentioning ;) Keep it up and stay healthy!
Jef Gibbons Hi Jef, yes I have Batterie, bought it with the initial expansion pack when I purchased Maschine. Now you make me nosy: an expansion that runs inside another expansion? I have to google that, might even be shown here on RU-vid. Thank you. Btw, I hope you and your family are safe and sound!!!
They run on any Daw, I use them on FL Studio, just put the content folder in your browser and your good to go. You can click, play, and drag the sounds onto your channel rack. You dont need your Maschine anymore.
@@elcooljay1821 thanks man. But could you give me a hint where that content might be hidden? all folders i touched so far are either empty or contain stuff only für N.I.
@@elcooljay1821 sorry to correct you. I googled it and N.I. says only a few assorted can be played outside maschine. I am glad I did not buy that package. And I will refrain from buying any of that stuff in future.
Man, that case for the controller with hand rest is posh. I’d check out the MK but fear I’d have trouble loading the software, I heard it’s a pain in the arse. Btw, are there synth sounds you can play with an external keyboard? Seems all I ever hear is drums and loops.
If you have virtual instruments you can load and play them on Maschine or a keyboard. It comes with its own bass synth and monark ( a moog Model D vst) and these can be played on keyboards. But it’s not really a synth on its own. Mainly drums and loops, samples. But any third party vst can be used.
You can sample. Got be creative. Plus it is playing music. Tons of software that is played like a real synth if you have a s49 or a decent midi. You stilll have to have an idea about music on some level. Plus all other 3 party vsts.
How come your slide bar light lights up while your making your beat it’s like it goes along with the bars when your getting close to the end of the 4 bar loop ?? How did you set that to do that ??
actually a good deal from NI. Unfortunately, as a complete 12 ultimate collection owner, I have 6 of the 9 Expansions. bad that you can't put together a set of Expansions yourself.
