Rewatched Blade today for the first time since I was like 5-6 and hearing this song instantly made me pause the movie so I could find the name of it. Listening to this song literally sends me back in time and its a direct correlation of how time felt back then. The tempo of everything, life, friends, conversations, tasks, was much slower but everything flowed so smoothly and every life event felt like it was happening when it was supposed to. Now In 2023 everything feels rushed, just constantly trying to keep up with life in general because of mistakes we’ve made. I can't sleep at night because I dread the tempo that my life will be when I wake up in the morning. During the hours of 11-2am I search for music like this that reminds me of the good days, I might be rambling I'm not the best at expressing how I feel through text but if anyone feels any bit like I do while listening to this, you're not alone and we will get through this! One day we'll catch up with our lives and I promise you that we will be listening to this song again with the biggest smile on our face.
Lol I just paused it for the same reason! Ain't seen Blade since I was in high school, man shit was so much simpler in the 90s or at least it felt that way. This and the THPS soundtrack take me to a smoothed out calm place that makes me wanna hit pause on life for sec.
I’m a younger guy so I wasn’t around when these movies were released, but I have been listening to trip-hop and other creative styles of music for my whole life. I love to show appreciation to this song because it embodies the slow feeling that is happening before the villain kills the cop (and it makes you feel powerless). He’s the one you should fear kind of feeling. The Blade series has such a strong soundtrack. The sequels soundtrack is just as good with their use of Massive Attacks “I, Against I”. Mezzanine as an album is my favorite from their discography, but even being raised before the true introduction of technology I know the feeling that you’re describing. It’s an odd world that we live in. Me as a person, I have been forced to live through the vast technological developments of the last 15 years, and it’s an odd thing in and of itself. Don’t feel weird to express yourself. It’s the only thing we can do in this existence. Express the feelings or they manifest into regret.
From the 1st time I saw blade as soon as I left the movie theater I bought the soundtrack. Then it introduced me to DJ Krush. Been a fan of his since. Japan has some amazing artists to say the least! Why can't soundtracks be as good as they were in the 90s? Seems that was the best generation for soundtracks
Welcome to the Temple of DJ Krush's Vibe. Remove your aural stereotypes, adjust your solid speakers and turn the volume higher than the peak of Mountain Fuji. Truly Zen Beat.
Blade brought me here whenever I hear this song it helps me relax, feel soothing, and drink wine to this while at a party with vampires or familiars with this song playing. Blade was my childhood movie, and favorite sure does bring me back memories I love this song.
Everytime when I'm having a bad day such as being angry or stressed I always play this song, put headphones on, lay down, close my eyes, and smile as I descend into a different place. 😍😎💯👍😏😩
The first song I ever heard by DJ Krush, along with "Yeah". Obviously, I first heard them both on the film "Blade". I have a copy of this LP with the full artwork arriving in the mail any day now!
YOOOOOO...i have been looking for this song for 21 years!! Die hard Daywalker fan! And i never even considered you tube until 2min ago while watching blade now. LMAOOO!! GOD I LOVE THIS SONG ON LOOOOOOOP!!
Blade brought me here I still have it on VHS tape since my childhood this song makes me wanna have a party with Deacon Frost where I would relax, and drink wine to this. It's 2019 still jamming and relax to this "Frost throws a great party."
This is so chill. Been playing it since 2002. First time was at my loft in Chicago. Had the whole 5th floor as my loft. Playing it on a Saturday night while having a few follow navy chicks over.
When listening to this track i think of a nice evening cool breeze in March as it rains with the windows open in the apartment in NYC. Nice drum beats instrumentals to relax to.
My own taste got me here because I watched Blade at the movies In 1998 and Instantly knew this was dope. One of the best chill vibes I've ever heard. DJ Krush put Japan on the map as far as I'm concerned. #Timeless
