This song is what instantly made me a DJ Krush fan!!! I have collected all of his albums and still enjoy this tune. When nobody's at your place with you and you're trying to relax, put this tune on your stereo or ht system, stretch out on the couch, close your eyes and drift away!!!
For years, I've always loved DJ Krush's talent when it comes to beats. This is one my favorites by him and one of my favorites song to toke to haha ;) but another good one is a song he did with The Roots called "Meiso". Man, I can't get enough of this song and I definitely dig this vibe. (:
I used to own the soundtrack of the 1st blade when I was about 10 yrs old and I would always skip this song to listen to the bangers of the rest of the cd. Then I grew up.
@@sandansaiyan5675 I used to roll the scene with this track in it at night, and imagine I had a Penthouse Looking over the city with a Lounge party full of Trendy Vampires Going off in the background
+wtdyjimjam i dont blame ya,the music was good...the tv was and gaming too,i was stuck on my SNES and N64 during that time lol and also watching MTV/nick,ah good ol childhood.
the music and that scene go hand in hand! chilled modern party/ gathering, couldn't do song like this any better justice! All I need now is a penthouse...
Venting Show He's talking about this track's appearance in the "vampire penthouse scene" in Blade (1998). Honestly, any serious fan of DJ Krush would instantly track spot that, so you, not jake pagent, are the one who fails.
love love love this tune! ever since i heard it on blade i was after it..! it fitted abslutely perfectly in that scene at deacon's slick and sleek penthouse party - right amount of style and darkness! whenever i put this on i feel like doing that slow tripped out dancing the spaced out blond vampire girl did in the scene lol.
Many years have passed and i still find myself lost in the late night city walks meeting strange people of the night , its all different when its dark , but times have changed and the drugs are mad crazy now, you never know what the next encounter will be like
oh yeah... tagging with your friends a train listening to this music is... just perfect.... btw, i never thought that song of that way but now that you're saying it.... thumbs up!
always dug this track, just found a plugin called vibraphone, tried the mellow preset, and i immediately remembered this track, great freakin tune!! always makes me think of smokin and sexytimez =D
So true mate, DJ Krush has a lot of dark stuffs. I'm recently listenning to the Meiso album, and yeah I could feel the dark vibe very clearly. I was discussing some politic matters with a dude in a Chicha bar in Strasbourg, France. The music atmosphere made me feel like I was working on a plot or something...
me and my roommate would just leave this track on loop all day and all night so when we came home from class we could chill out. most played song in itunes library by three digits
Ate an edible and I thought to myself "dig the vibe would sound sick" haha It alwas does :) and now that I'm faded, I could chillax on my couch and stay diggin th vibe :) hahaha
I hate the radio! This is the only thing that makes sense. No love songs! No shoot 'em, pimps & Hoes Hip Hop! No Pop crap! Just some cool deep tracks to put you at easy.
@S1KK This song is pretty nostalgic to me. There are a lot of reasons, for example the movie Blade. Or when I was in New York I listened to this song on dark, summer nights. I entered some alleys, made pictures and left. I stood on top of Rockefeller building and again...I listened to this song. I practically roamed through whole of Manhattan with this song on. This song, to me, really describes the vibe I felt there. It was always nighttime when I listened to it. And the song is pretty dark.
