This is the 5th song in my attempt to record an entire album of Django Reinhardt songs. Featuring Baba Elefante on bass. Chart & Tabs at: mikepachelli.com/charts-tabs
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Great temazo and great musical atmosphere. I'm already seeing myself sipping a coffee with a croissant in Paris. A maestro playing another maestro. One of the greats of jazz. And an example of perseverance and love for music.
Loved it. I think you’re having as much fun playing this as I’m enjoying it. I’m just overwhelmed with a smile on my face listening to this. I look forward to trying this.
Fantastique!!! Cette fidélité d’interprétation au maître Django comble une lacune majeure! I love all your beatlemania mastering videos work, but now with Django, la France manouche is in the jack pot!! Waiting for the album intensively! Encore bravo! Play it again Mike! The best hommage to a genius is to play it is way (and you prove it here!), cause doing is way is showing his precise and essential creativity. Not an absolute in fact, but it’s give the goosebumps to hear it recreate! Thank you!🎯👏👍♥
uhhh...when can I preorder the album? Thanks for keeping the legacy of this French genius alive Mike...and with a personal touch...so far all 5 pieces are brilliant, well done and cheers!
I'll do a Kickstarter sometime late next year. That's where ya can preorder. That is if I finish by then. It takes me QUITE A LONG time to be able to hit the 'record' button on one of Django's tunes. Takes a whole lot of practicing. It's proving to be the most difficult album I've ever tried to record.
