USD $449, not bad for whats in it, was expecting it to be more expensive than the drone :) but I know DJI well so I'll wait for version 2 or 3 that will inevitably come out in few months :D

A few things I'll add after having my Goggles for 2 days: It took a while to find out how to get it into tracking mode so it responded to your head movements. Sure it's in the manual somewhere but this might save you some time. Swipe TWO fingers down on the right hand side touch panel and the menu for this pops up. If you can't get menus to come up make sure the touchpad isn't locked. There's a lock icon upper right. I think it's 2 fingers forward to do this. Use ONE finger only to do menus. 2 fingers is a whole different thing. In head tracking mode turn your head a *_bit_* to the left or right and hold it there to make the drone yaw. Don't spin around. Put your head straight forward to stop the yaw. Oh and if you take the headset off when it's in this mode the drone might start slow spinning. I changed the mode to "Full Screen" to try to stop it but it didn't. I had to manually stop the yaw with the joystick while landing. I cannot get it to read or even see an SD card. I tried 2 Class 10 cards. It won't format or read the card from the Mavic Pro. Anyone who can help would be appreciated. Love the Goggles though.

I have a Mavic Pro myself. Will I be able to control my camera as shown on 2:46 with remote only anytime soon? Because it will be kind of amazing.

I got them today----wow--they are cool---at one point I felt dizzy--almost fell over! hahaha. love the head move/camera move---fantastic mode!!!!!! Anxious to try them in Cape Cod with whales and tuna etc!! Have to stay at least 100 yrs away. . what an immersive experience!! Definitely awesome and worth the $$

They will need to make it 3D in next iterations. That will require a drone with two cameras; will be incredible. You'll be able to rent a drone to look around the Grand Canyon from your home in New York.

DJI has really thought out these googles. He did say up to 4 can be shared. AWSOME !

Amazing! I still can't use it with my racing drone. It is a huge market and you should make something to rival Fat Sharks.

The new DJI googles seems amazing! I've been using a cheap VR kit for my Phantom 3 with Litchi and it lags. Too many features available than the usual googles. Let's celebrate to this! 😉

I can't wait until I get these. I'm so excited. I feel like a little boy again at Christmas. With that being said, I'm also a little worried about getting a set that works perfectly. With all the MAVIC issues that have been going on and there quality control issues due to there products going viral I'm just hoping the 6 extra months they had with these goggles assures us of a trouble free experience. I presently have a MAVIC being worked on that was sent in a month ago. Ugh. REALLY? funny cause if you read the refresh crap we paid for this really great turn around to keep us flying. Lol lol. Hahaha. So two crashes a year equal approx3 months in repair so refresh is only a 9 month contract I guess? lol. a few days is expected but come on over a month to change a motor and good only knows what I'll get back now. I really want to love this company but with this kind of service there not gonna last very long at all. please get better DJI. I LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS. PLEASE! MICHAEL

Dji is so good at making vr headsets removing the screen door effect that If they made something like the htc vive, I would buy it!

Dji, with the most portable drone and the less portable visor :D I wouldn't define this a "brand new experience", but it's nice the fact that you can use the goggles as a generic screen

Since the dji goggles connect directly to the mavic what is then the range from the mavic to the goggles live feed? is it the same as the live feed from the phone connected to the radio??

Goggles with a separate screen for each eye, such as these, are designed for stereoscopic viewing; ie. 3D! So, hurry up, DJI, and let's see a quadcopter with a stereo image sensor pair (two side-by-side cameras) to complement the goggle design!
