Thanks Bro I have the DJI RS3 Pro for more than a year now with the intention of buying the Lidar. But it was just to new for me I wanted to see real world videos and experiences not just the DJI content. Needed to see how mature the system is. This video helped
Pretty impressive. I am looking to buy the Lidar system as well. This video convince me to do so. I would love to see some footage of the Sirui 50mm T2.9 with FX6. Thanks for all the good content. You are one of my favorite RU-vid out there. Cheers from Canada.
To tell you the truth... I've seen like 10 videos on the LiDAR and brother, this video is the one that made me pull the trigger. Thanks and congrats! Lol. #subbed
Really nice performance with the setup, is it possible to use the LIDAR without a RS3? I heard there going to release a unit that can work without the gimbal
how hard is to use lidar in middle of shoot when you need to change lenses and calibrate? can you use lidar only with rs3 or also handheld? how hard is all the setup with the focus system?
It stores 3 presets from what I can tell, but the DZO Vespid Cyber lens don't need calibration as they just plan and shoot. So as of today it seems you can have 3 lens presets calibrated and then 3 Vespid Cybers, giving 6 quick lens options.
How long does the battery last with the raveneye, the LiDAR and the focus motor attached to the gimbal? Should I get another battery grip and a v mount battery?
Question for you about the calibration, specifically for the 7 Artisans 25mm T1.05. Saw another video saying that you have to manually calibrate the lens since it goes past infinity to it's hard stop. Did you have that issue or have you used it with the Lidar system yet? Waiting on my lidar to arrive this week. What other lens have you used with this sysytem and any issues you've noticed?
hey! greetings from Brazil! can you test it with the 7Artisans cine lenses? I got curious about the Lidar system with the T1.05 love your content! thx a lot!
Hey Alex if you able to shoot any music video or fast moving action with Lidar please post that. I shoot music videos and always tend to use auto focus lens with fx3 as solo operator. If can use cinema lens as solo operator it will be something next level.
DJI's got me thinking hard about the 4D Flex because it has everything all in one, although lens selection is very limited. In this video it looks like the lidar is not as good as the FX3 auto focus.. but still pretty good!
I know this is old but it's just a hand rig and the tripod that comes with the dji rs3 pro, the tracking is done through the lidar mentioned in the video(interacts with gimbal to follow subjects)
I own the LiDAR sensor and really love it. BUT if you use fog in your shoot the system doesn’t work & is pulling focus like crazy…. Any suggestions or workaround for that?
Matte box.. in the way? Would a simple bracket allowing the unit to be mounted further forward and simply recalibrate the difference to the focal plane..? This is incredibly cheap and the function looks very impressive (The Arri Hi 5 is what 40 grand or more with 3 motors.. So the Lidar really is insanely good value for money. The Hi 5 has focus tracking but it is flawed or lets say far from perfect, it is only as good as the person using it, by knowing just when, if and how long you can actually focus track) If DJI were to make a remote focus unit i.e. hand controller it would be fantastic to use the auto focus but let a focus puller jump in when and if needed, same as if the focus puller could press a lets say zap button so the unit takes over in a precarious moment.. The Lidar can pull from one subject to another, but it did it with very little feeling.. basically A-B which was a noticeable jump from one focus plane to the other.. it would be nice if this could be speed controlled to replicate someone actually doing it by hand. (I have only seen one previous video on the Lidar, so perhaps you can influence the speed?) I will no doubt buy one.. but first I need to buy a camera😕
