great video , is it auto record when i use the intelligent mode or do i have to manually press the record button , or does it have an auto record options , tnx.
Hi there i have DJi Mavic pro and i dont have the symbol on the left side off the remote control to choose which flight mode i want for example tracking mode, follow me, interest of point And so on, i have reinstall the dji app but same problem again does any one have any ideas what could be wrong.??? If you want to ruin your drone, go ahead and use the Quickshot mode. Its the most self destructing aspect of the drone. They say the omnidirectional collision avoidance work with Quickshot, but then DJI states in a footnote that they don't. My Mavic 2 Pro collided with a solid object while doing a circle. I misjudged the distance but I was hoping the collision avoidance would save it. Nope, the "side sensors" do not work in quickshot mode. The DJI programmers give you a very false sense of security and are not honest with the ability of their systems. Don't trust Quickshot unless you are in the middle of the desert.
Are only the front and back sensors available for obstacle avoidance during Quick shots? It looks like the sides (left and right) are unavailable during quick shots, is this correct??
Fantastic video, learnt so much! Just a quick question, in quickshot, in the boomerang mode, are the sensors active? I wanted to take one earlier at the beach but there was a 5 metre cliff behind me so I was unsure if it would automatically fly up over it. Thank you!
Please, do you have a video or can you tell me how to turn "Active Track" and those features OFF. When I hit the Big Red X to turn it off it still has little green circles on the screen wanting me to select something to track. Do I have to land and reset everything to turn it off or is there another way on the iPad mini 4? Thank you in advance.
on the screen you're supposed to hit the quick shot button just underneath the return to home button and when you get the big screen to choose a "quick shot" choose NORMAL. It'll be the remote control icon.
Is this for the Mavic 2 Pro? I can't understand why I'm not seeing the things you are showing like Dronie, Circle, Helix, rocket, boomerang and asteroid?
You forgot to mention TRIPOD mode, which I use a lot, because most of my pictures are night cityscapes. Some of the flight modes are very similar to one another. It is just a matter of learning what you can achieve with each one, and use the ones that best suits your taste, in my opinion. Also, for me, I always try to film everything using my fingers on the remote; I consider it a lot more fun that way. Thanks for the video!
Hi Mike, I have a question for you. I have a Mavic 2 Pro myself. I lent it to a friend. All icons of "ALL Intelligent Flight Modes" appear on the display are no longer visible. He accidentally removed "ALL Intelligent Flight Modes" from the icons display. My question, how do I make them appear on the display again. Hope you can help me
I am trying to do some fly overs for our golf course. I’m trying to do a POI (either circle, helix, or boomerang) around the green complexes. My problem is that I can’t pick a POI (ie, center of the green) using the green box feature. Any recommendations? I can free fly using sticks but hoping something easier.
hi, when im in waypoint hyperlapse mode, the tiny gps map wont show me the little blue waypoints. I've tried everything but cant figure it out. Even though I see the preview image at the botton of the screen, I can find a way to see those little blue dots. They are usefull to know the aiming direction. could you please help me?

DJI is well funy... we have paid a tonn of money for this device than we still cant use all the sensors any time.. why??? or mavic 3 will do it? haha for 2tonn of money? lol

Great video! Is it possible to use active track mode to follow an object that is not you while you have the controller? I tried to use active track to track a friend of mine who was across from me but was unable to do. Drone did not follow him at all even though the green circle was locked onto him.

I'm trying to use the quickshots modes but when I go in , I don't have the option to draw around / select the subject. I can draw around myself in active track no problem and I'm not in sport mode. Why won't this work in quickshot dronie option ??? Anyone?

HellO! Nice work! I do have a quick question... can any of these Quick Shot Modes be used fairly close up? In other words, can you have the drone fly just 6 feet away from you and perform a circle or helix move?
I found out the front sensors and rear sensors work in the Position/GPS hold mode and do not in the lateral sensors do not. If you put it in Tripod mode all the sensors work. I wonder if you can zoom while doing a point of interest orbit? Any feed back... I would like to know.

Hey Yuri! Sometimes this happens if you've accidentally switched to sport mode from the remote controller, see if you're in "P" mode and check again, maybe that's the issue.
I have a questions. Everytime I do the video editing, I realize that the video result of the flight intelligent mode is better (dynamic in color) than the normal mode. Can you help explain why is that?
Just got mine this morning and only did a quick test but I will try modes tomorrow. I found the drone to be very reactive so the cinematic mode will be veey handy! Great vid! I subscribed.

Honestly, I might have used a couple of those Intelligent modes but mainly trust my fingers to move the RC sticks. It takes a lot of practice but I've been able to capture great footage relying on manual flying the drone.

ActiveTrack...so I want to use filming with a boat. Can you be flying the drone and select subject such as a wakeboarder. ActiveTrack is not really fully explained too well. Like in Spotlight, the drone doesn't really move. Also the slider is difficult to manage. Can you do a full review of Active Track.

Great review! Does the omni directional sensing works ok in active track mode? In old mavic, only in trace mode was ok, all of the rest were saying that obstacle detection wont work. Second question, have you tried to follow something with active track while descending, e.g. skiing or mtbiking, because again in old version it was not descending well.

That’s great Mike. It’s much appreciated. I hope you hit DJI “low and hard” so that they hopefully listen to their customers and get these lost features implement quickly and soon. I really hope I did not make a big mistake by having invested over $2000 Canadian only to find out that the Mavic 2 will not have all the options that I had with the previous Mavic Pro, which I recently sold.

Hi Mike. I have just recived my new Dji Mavic 2 Zoom. When I use the switch for Tripod & Sport mode, nothing happens. It fly just the same no matter what mode I put in... How do I activate the switch so it works? Kind Regards Stefan
There's a setting in the settings menu which is something like "enable multiple flight modes". It's turned off by default so you need to switch it on in order to use Sport/Tripod mode. Good luck! :)
