Bought the DJI Mini first... now, ordering the Mavic Air 2... after watching this, I feel like I made a good choice. Thank you for the video... found it very helpful!
Hi I am Ongpor, I love droning mainly for spiritual places in the natures. I just got my mavic air 2 yesterday and very confused about how to use hyperlapse. This video helps a lot. Thank you for making this.
Very good tutorial 👌 also I recommend using landing pad when you want to ascending your drone from soil or sandy land. The particles may suck to your drone and damage it 😃👍
It's great to see a RU-vid channel that has a thriving forum community attached. So glad you're making videos on the Mavic Air 2. I pulled the trigger and should have mine by Friday!
Camera movement remains slow while visual movement is fast. Just speeding up the video would make all camera movements fast as well as visual movement.
Thank you for the video mate. *Found it really helpful.* Purchased the Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo however my battery life ain't that great. *I am only able to have 15 to 20 minutes of the fly time at about 90% charge.* May be it's because of the extreme wind. *Also when I charge the battery to the fullest, when I start my Drone it's at 90%.* I have a care refresh plan, Can I request DJI to change or do the needful?
Pro Tip: You should be using an ND filter, and following the 180 deg. rule with shutter speed to get a true Hyperlapse. If you don't do this, you get worse results and won't get proper motion blur than what the Mavic Air 2 is capable of, these examples you show do not do the Mavic Air 2 justice... If you don't use the 180 deg rule and don't achieve the proper motion blur, the resulting hyperlapses look cheap and jerky and not smooth a natural. This shocks me a little given your channel's name is PhotographyTalk..
@PhotographyTalk I read in the news that USA and Canada are pulling them (All DJI drones) out of the market, bcs of an infringement. Have you read or heard anything in regard to that? Great video, I was going for the GoPro last giveaway, saw ALL your videos and commented lol, but hey, it is what it is. Now I’m hoping for those juicy filters! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Nice, but you missed talking about the impact of video resolution on settings. I.e. 2 s interval is there for 1080, but jumps to a much larger number for 8k, oh and 4k hyperlapses don't exist. And the 8k hyperlapses out there right now look might shakey...
Hi Alex, I liked your hyper lapse tutorial, it is so simple to understand and very informative. Cool scenes! Especially I loved the excavator. By the way, on the last minutes of your video, there is a background image that shows my country. It is from Istanbul, Turkey. The tower is in the middle of the photo is called Galata Tower. Have you ever been in Istanbul?
Hey bud... thank you for the kind words. Welcome to the channel! Yes the photo you see behind me is from my 2019 trip to Instanbul... loved the city, people and your food! The shot of Galata Tower was the specific shot I went there to get. I was scheduled to go back this year, however all my international trips were cancelled!
Great informative video, thanks. Noticed some blurring on your final hyperlaspe videos. Not sure if its my graphics card or if there is a DJI setting (more shots) that would alleviate this.
Great. I'm trying to get a DJI Mavic air 2 you got me good information for DJI mavic air 2 tutorial to me. I wish you a give away winning gifts you had please look out for me. I needed a nice and big cave monitor I'm interesting. Thanks
Hello Alex, serious questions from a beginner drone pilot- Using the preset modes, if I was to abort for any reason do I simply use the controls ie stop recording and bring the drone back using the manual toggles, do I press home and have it return? (I assume you have to preset your home location or is that automatic?) finally a big thank you for a great tutorial. Hope you will reply my questions. Thanks in advance.
My mavic air 2 just died and crashed after updating the firmware which included update on hyperlapse, when I went to it, the tutorial came on and then within seconds all the motors quit and crashed to the ground...Keep asking them to check at DJI repair and they just ignore the questions asked and say need data log, which I was finally able to download off remote....but will not address the situation happened right after firmware download...until this point the drone worked perfect....they act like its not a concern they need to address
Aussom video I have learned a lot about my new drone. Thanks so much.i will be watching more of your video.as Iam still learning how to understand my drone.thank you Scott g
I love the waypoint so far. Just getting into hyperlapses, but I set the flight up with the waypoints, mine are 10 to 15 seconds for client work. Set up waypoints on one battery, save them, then do the actual hyperlapse with fresh new battery. Loved your tutorial on the other options.
Bit surprised that none of what you actually shot was used in the examples, also the examples were pretty terrible in terms of hyperlapse. I guess you get the idea from this video, and it was explained well, just the examples were a bit pants!
