DJI MAVIC PRO Review - [Flight Test In-Depth / Pros & Cons] 

I love watching quadcopter vids because I'm a junkie, but when there's one that I am thinking about buying I always come here. Love the variety of reviewers on RU-vid, short and long reviews alike. This was as thorough as usual and for what this thing costs and is purported to do, the length of the review is appropriate and necessary.

brilliant video, really like seeing the unedited footage of you getting to grips with the Mavic as its all well and good watching vloggers who know how to shoot great footage using these things, but your video is far more real world and representative

Hi everyone. I would like to comment that I was not using the DJIGO 4 app in this Review. This was done with the original app. An oversight on my part and I will be revisiting the Mavic with the djiGo 4 app to see the difference in performance. Aloha.

I watched your Spark review and flight test and I was really impressed. You and others have shown that the Spark is so much more than just a Selfie drone. But ultimately, I just ordered the more expensive Mavic because I've been wanting one for a VERY long time and I felt I would regret it if I did not. But you, along with several other very good RU-vidrs who do drone reviews, did make me question (over and over again), which I should buy. I appreciate your unbiased reviews and I'm glad you are in a position to be able to safely do these long range tests.

For Photos, once you make the finger gesture, you have to spread them apart, and then in 3 secs it will auto take the photo (start your fingers close together as a small square, then spread them into a larger square)....just an FYI

I know was posted a while ago but great video. Watching all of your Mavic Pro videos while I await mine in the mail. Love how detailed this is. Assuming should not have an app crash issue now(hoping). I use iPhone 6.

thanks - I have been using the Mavic Prop (platinum) a lot for my youtube channel - a very trustworthy little machine. sometimes it likes to drift laterally though (usually to the left) despite wanting a straight forward flight . So my finger needs to correct (smoothly) in order to get decent film foootage.. hopefully my last calibration (of controller and compass and ..) will reduce that small glitch..

Thanks for sharing, for sure more entertaining than reading the manual ;-) Any tips on dealing with sea mist? Just to think about it hitting the gimbal motors and that frontal fan gets me afraid of flying by the beach / over sea
