Great video, I've had a mini 2 for about a month and i'm loving it. It's a great tool to add to a photographers bag. Had it over at the Lake District over the weekend and got some great footage.
How did you hover over water? I tried it and my drone took off unexpectedly and almost hit a tree! I was lucky it didn't. Thanks. I liked this video so I will check out your others.
The volume on the music and that stuff is great but soon as you start talking it’s just a very low squeaky noise love the video quality would love to hear it and I can’t even turn it with my car full blast give us a hint I know you had a great start
Thank you for watching mate! I love the Pano mode, it's so useful! I've got a few to get filmed, just waiting for a bit sun haha! I'd love to see your panos, send them over to my Insta! :D
Good video can you explain the ISO and the shutter speed and what they should be set at for a general setting. I have a couple of drones but I want to start doing more. I need to understand how to set the iso and shutter speed. Any pointers you can suggest I would also like to do some night stuff. What settings can I use to get the best results thanx scott.
Hi Scott, thanks for watching! If you check my drone playlist on my channel there’s a couple of videos for shutter speed and iso! Ideally you want your iso as low as possible, and your shutter speed double your frame rate for video and to capture sharp images, ideally your shutter speed as high as possible (unless you are being creative with long exposures) night stuff will be coming soon! :)
maybe a tip, put the camera with tripod differently next time. you are now looking into the sun and it seems like you are angry. and you will no longer see the shadow of the camera and tripod. greetings from the Netherlands
excellent video Daniel - I think you maybe seeing a peak in subscribers... one question about photos in 180 and wide mode do you leave it in auto mode due to the differences in light at different angles ?
Hey, thank you! I do tend to leave in it in auto for wide and pano shots as there is usually a strong difference in brightness between the ground and the sky. Is what you could do is, do it manually, but do the pano or wideshot 3 times at different exposures and merge the different shots in post. (my previous drone photo vid goes over this) Thanks for watching! :D
Hi buddy ,Great video as always. What's the main difference between 4/3 and 16/9 photo ratio. I am currently using 16/9 as I use them on my RU-vid videos but I heard 4/3 has better quality. If shoot photos in that mode won't the photos layout look odd when I incorporate it into my RU-vid videos?Hope that makes sense and is not a silly question 😉
Hey that makes total sense! You get a slightly higher resolution with 4:3 as it uses all of the sensor but if you end use is RU-vid I'd shoot in 16:9 still so it will be the correct aspect ratio and it will look normal.
