Hi Everyone, just to answer a question I never even thought of. Is this the same with A Vista or Airunit updates to work with the Goggles 2 and Integra ? The answer is yes. The Vista and DJI Airunit behaves the same as O3 once it’s been updated for use with the Goggles 2. So when a vista is used with V2 goggles or V1 it’s the original system chart. When it’s updated got Goggle 2 and Integra it’s the same as O3.
I'm having an issue that might be right up your alley. I've message devs, JB, ect. Know one seems to have a fix for me. I have goggles 2 and Vista. (Mind you I've done this before successfully this time it's not working) I've updated firmware, bound the 2 systems, I use True RC on my goggles, and Hugo sent me custom antenna so both lchp. However, my issue; everything looks good, I power up, I arm, MBS go to about 20. I turn low power off, I see 50mbs.... soon as I arm the craft, my mbs drop like flies. Basically rendering it useless. I'm in one of the 3 race channels, so that's not it. I've never seen a drone arm, and then lose mbs the way this does. So it not the antenna or Vista, as I can roll it back and connect to V2's and get 50mbs all day. You are very smart, and I assume you would know the cause of this and how I can fix it. I'm 2 weeks in without a fix. Please help.
Off Topic: speedy bee has shipped my latest 2 flight controler orders, one has already arrived and the other is on the road or plane and will take a week. The first has been ordered end of August and the latest has been ordered in september. So far no chinese export ban for model rc flight controllers and plane motors and escs cause all those ordered in september have been shipped. At least the export ban has not started right now, maybe later, but I will continue buying stuff for the holiday camp in late Sept. / early October where we have a lot kids that wanna build and learn to fly
@@djhexI'm not gonna lie. Ive had trouble flying the vista and goggle 2 as well it just super glitchy and the range was horrendous as well. I just couldn't do it to be honest I've tried a few things and it just wasn't really my cup of tea. It seemed latent AF. I kind of gave up on it and downgraded to the v2 firmware and unfortunately carry 2 goggles with Me. If you figure out what the issues were I'd love to hear the response. Some people seemed to not have any issues or just deal with it. It looks glorious when it's working picture wise but flyable wise i couldn't get passed it. Maybe I didn't have something setup properly that was a key aspect to get it to work together well. Yes granted I know the range using linear antennas and stock vista will suffer but not the point where it felt like I was flying in 60fps mode and 200ft I was getting massive drops
@@josefdahari worst part is, I've done this before. I've had the Vista and Goggles 2 working. Unfortunately my entire drone collection was stolen from my vehicle and insurance didn't cover it....... so I'm slowly rebuilding :( I replicated the last build, and it is not working..... soon as I arm the drone, my mbs drop like flies. So if someone has the fix, please let me know. Your not the only one who's replied to a thread and said they've had the same issues.
I’ve found similar,, my original au and vista mbs aren’t very good with the goggles 2. I’m going to try with the original linear goggle antennas and pop some linear on my quads, see if that makes a difference.
If you want to see freestyling for 10 minutes there is many channels. BUT if you want to learn about everything you need in FPV this is the learning channel. Thank you for your time and effort to make this hobby enjoyable 😉.
No wonder I was having issues at Dronefest the other week. I was on analogue R4 and had major range issues. Another guy running DJI 03 on R4 kept loosing signal and crashing this is clearly why. Thanks Mads👍👍
Thanks so much for this insightful analysis and guidance. Been flying with a mix of pilots and DJI equipment, from FPV drone w/ Goggles V2, Avata w/ Goggles 2, and O3 Air unit w/ both goggles - and have experienced some challenges on the flight line. Trying to identify and establish a safe protocol for this crew to fly together - and this information is VERY helpful.
Thanks for the hard work! That's a good explanation why on my last FPV meet when going in 20mhz mode on o3 (not to stomp on others video) selecting ch5 gave me ugly performance. My copter was stuck at around 6mpbs the whole flight (which was alarming but at the same time very well flyable) Greets, Mario
I have G2 i fly with 3 other DJI pilots, one walknail, and one analog. We can all be in the air at the same time with minimal interference. But it has to be setup right before we arm.
Well, first of all, thanks for all your work in it! Please. Can you resume it? If I use Dji RC 2, O3 unit, Dji V2 with Ham file. With channel will be the best in manual mode 5.8GHZ? 1 - 2 or 3? Thanks and have a great day!
+1!! Great video! I was always trying to find out all this information and then i see this video and its EXACTLY what i needed! Thanks Also how do you like that new 5" Speedybee Frame with the O3 camera fitment and all that? Im looking to upgrade my frame to something specifically made for the O3 camera so that i can have a nice metal guard up front to protect the O3 camera if possible..
Hi. I use the 03 air unit with the ham file, and it works great the only issue i have is if i fly with others using older vista and air units, i have had issues where their video feeds have been messed up and mine still remained fine when flying together, what i really want to know is what channels and power should we be using to not get any interferance between the different systems, i gave up with older vista and air units as i found the range and penetration to be not very good with the integra goggles.
Hi, i m in fcc mode whith HAM file on Dji air unit 03, my max MBPS in manual mode is 20-25 mbps... when i put into auto MODE it seems to go to 50 mbps! Is it possible to up to 50 mbps in manual mode?
Does the G2/Integra have any communication burst on bootup like the V2 system? Or is it safe to reboot after channels have been manually allocated, without blasting people out of the air?
Any thoughts on min maxing antenna setup? For example i will never use the RC link thats in 2.4 GHZ and i only care about video, that means i just need 5.8 Ghz antennas both on the V2 and the O3 AU? I know the 03 stock antenna is good, i would probably not replace it unless it rips out again and gets lost
there's problems with using the dji potato and the O3 when both are in auto mode (the potato has no menu options in goggles 2 so its stuck on auto) the two interfere with each other and do not auto negotiate the channels correctly.
Tried to download the PDF as this is a very nice handy chart, but I dont have any of these apps and dont want to install a bunch of bloatware. I just want the PDF.
I knows some people on dji original system that they dont bother going away from public. Its bad for analog guys. If they go to o3 i could be terrible. Does the auto mode avoid to transmit on used freq?
i have my o3 and i lose video after 1 minute and 10 seconds. it is not the reg because that also happens when powering over vbat. did anyone else have a issue like that?
@MadRC Thanks again. Tried it today, and everything is still fine. I didn't plan to upgrade Goggles an O3 at all anymore because the HAM is important to me. I can opt to get a more stable connection out on the fields far off from other people. Now I upgraded, and the firmware freeze is established again for the next round. Definitely a good strategy not to update right after release. Let it sink in and wait for feedback from other users, then decide.
I wish you would go check out the DJI Forum "DJI FPV Controller 2 - RX LOSS, Failsafe Update". and read some of the most outrageous answers as to why were having problems with the DJI RC Remote 2 when using it with the 03 Unit. There's absolutely no problems using the DJI Remote 2 with the Avata. None Here's one of the latest bogus reasons from DJI, "We checked the video and LOGs you provided at #51 and found the aircraft lost the signals when it flew to your back. At that time, the aircraft was out of the coverage of the remote controller signals, which resulted in RXLOSS" They just dont seem to acknowledge there's a problem. Crazy and Sad
