DJI says, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (and Osmo Action 4) do not charge, when used in webcam mode.
That's not entirely correct.

Do you have any suggestions how to mount the WebCam while you were powering it via USB? I would be inclined to use the the 1/4-20 handle for mounting, except for the fact that it blocks the USB port.

It doesn't block the USB port, because it's passed through and out the side. But it gets a bit big of a setup that way. You can see that in my other Osmo Pocket 3 video, where I took it out for a ride. The livestreaming video.

Thanks for the trick! Did you try to record while charging about more than 5h? I need to stream or record an event of 5+hours with audio included. I can have external power supply and big SD. 1080 or 720 should be ok if sd size is a problem. It is a conference with continuous record or transmit. Any recommendations?

What is the easiest way to use the Osmo Pocket 3 to record to an ipad mini? Assuming the charge is full and I do not need to charge while in use? Thank you!

I have a powered hub with a PDO 27-watt charger and the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 still runs flat during webcam meetings. Very frustrating.

Try and check the specifications of the powered hub. Sometimes there's also limits there.

Thanks so much for this. For webcam audio, i have seen other reviewers say audio is not embedded to webcam. Is that true? Is the wireless mic embedded?

Other reviewers have it wrong. Both the internal mic and the DJI Mic 2 are available, but you need to select the audio device "Capture Inactive", "OsmoAction3" or "OsmoAction4", all depending on if you ever had a Osmo Action 3 or 4 connected to your PC before. That's the audio stream from the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
