Firmware release is today at 1pm GMT.
The DJI Air 3 and DJI Mini 4 Pro just received a huge firmware update which provides a ton of new features. In this video I will show you all the new features in the update and show you how to use them along with what limitations they have. The new features include vision assist, ActiveTrack 360 auto, tele spherical panorama, digital zoom for stills, DJI Goggles compatibility, and downward sensor switch off.

For the 360 pano with the telephoto lens, what resolution is the final image, and were the files raw or just jpeg out of the air 3? Did it get the stitching errors in PTGui?

Hey, I can’t remember the final resolution, but it was massive. I will check later. They were JPEG but I think it can also do raw. Not 100% sure. There were stitching errors, but only in the sky where there was no detail for it to catch on to.

I have a DJI Mini and make dirt bike content and I need the tracking mode (to get myself in the shot) which the Mini doesn’t have. Which drone do you recommend for tracking and is small enough to fit in my backpack? Btw I just found your channel, subscribed! Great content!

Is the video transmission that choppy, or is it because of the screen recorder? I am thinking of getting this drone, but having that amount of lag on my video transmission brings PTSD from my Phantom 4.

It’s the beta firmware. The release firmware doesn’t have that anymore

Luke…. Looks like the Air and Mini 4 have different Quickshots that are cycled through during ActionTracking Auto. My Mini 4 never moves into the Dronie mode? Are these Quickshots modes selectable during Auto tracking?

As far as I know you can’t choose which shots the drone chooses to do… Maybe it is selectable in a menu though.

I have a question what is the best drone under a 100 dollars that I can fly inside and outside that fast and can do a lot of cool tricks and I don’t really care about the best camera just one that I can use for fun with 3 batteries

A great video as always but could you please please please as the first RU-vidr worldwide measure the latency between the goggles Integra and Mini 4 pro? Is it 40 milliseconds like the Avata or 150 milliseconds like to the remote Controller?

Hey that would be stellar and I would be forever grateful. 150 would be a big disappointment! It felt like 80ms when I flew my mini 3 pro with the rc n1 hack until I crashed into a river. So I can't measure it myself. Thank you so much.

When you are in vision assist and looking at the left or right view, you see the props angle forward (pretty cool), but "unfortunately" it switches to forward view right away. They also made it so you can use the goggles with the mini 4 pro, but I'm going to wait until they come out with the next version of the goggles due to the problems I found with the existing ones.

Have a great Christmas and a happy New Year. I’m quite good at accents and absolutely love a South African accent. I struggle to do it. You sound and pronounce every word perfectly. Thanks again.
