This shows how gently and nice is this man. After he loss his first GS final at very young age and he still able to smile and make feel comfortable to the winner. Literally every time he losses, he puts some effort to be happy for the winner and make him feel good. Respect
Djokovic has the best demeanor when losing. I’m a fed fan but he every time he loses to djokovic he has a look of disdain, same with nadal he barely looks at Novak. But djokovic win or lose always meets his opponent with a smile and a hug.
Lol... Ur talking about raw emotions man....at least federer is consistent with his behavior, he cries in defeat and in winning. The guy is class off the court while there are times when djokovic has total disregard for society as a whole... Partying at peak of Covid and catching covid and spreading it among players?? Non vaccination drama? Please... No class at all compared to federer or Nadal
Let it be clearly known that Wawrinka was able to defeat one of the most dominant players of this era! He should be up there with Del Potro in terms of respect and admiration!!
@@shinjansarangi9120 Murray has 3 GS (though at *only* two tournaments). But he was a lot more consistent than Stan, as the amount of titles he garnered. But yes, Stan's talent is undeniable when he's on.
@@TimeIdle of course, 100% with you on that. I’ll still quote your reason as why Andy may be part of a “fan 4”. And comparisons aside, Stan did at the very least look like he could beat the top guys at their peak. Delpo was an amazing player and (injuries aside) would still fall under a “what might have been category”. If not for the 2009 US Open, I don’t think we’ll be including him in the mix (and those 2 amazing wimby semis).
not all of it was unreasonable. clearly had the worst temper and poorest attitude. his family spoke poorly of Federer and Nadal all the time. He never apologized for it either
@@waholoopesorry74 Has Federer ever apologized for saying Novak 'gives up' in matches when he had health issues or how he got in a 'lucky shot' and 'slapped the ball around' after tue USO11 semi?
@@SerbAtheist Exactly. If anything it was Fed who made the relationship between the two weird saying such things. Yet Fed gets a pass for taunting someone who was dealing with health issues. And people say he has amazing class lol please. He's no better then Novak at least Novak never made fun of someone dealing with health issues
Novak ALWAYS gracious in defeat. Good sportsmanship quality. He congratulates his opponent with smile. 2012 USO final is so unfortunate that Djokovic broke serves but Murray won in tie breakers.

@@SRCG2773 2013 wasn't that much for me Because I was happy he was able to push and deliver a great match The other 3 I thought he was the favourite and should have won and thus hurt me a little more
In 2012 US final, he lost the first 2 sets and thus deserved that loss. In 2016,he already had injury after French open and that injury was getting worse until mid 2017. In US open 2013, he could have won the 3rd set but he was not mentally tough enough. At the end, Nadal beat him easily.
2015 🇫🇷 the worst one 2016 🇺🇸 revenge time! Instead choked again against wawrinka! 2:0 in finals against wawrinka, as a novak fan this loss hurts deeply! i wouldve prefered if he had won this and lose 1 to federer or murray 2013 🇺🇸 how could you lose the 2nd time on your favourite court in a final against your biggest rival? But i strongly believe that all that losses made him mentaly the strongest player we will ever see! in MY OPINION hes the GOAT
Everyone has their own celebration.. Everyone says Djokovic is humble in defeat but will you say he is not humble because he rips his shirt after the win in Australia 12 ?
This shows why Nadal and Novak will be in the conversation as greatest ever Nadal with the injuries that ruined 3 years of his career atleast and yet still beat him in 5 gram Slams, why really surprised me is Federer only winning one final against Novak.
It's not that surprising if you look at it more closely. They contested their first ever major final in 2007, Federer was in his prime, Novak was good, but young. They wouldn't play another major final for another 7 years, until 2014. They played two in 2015, and one more in 2019. Djokovic was in his prime (outside of the 2019 final, but novak was still world no. 1 while federer was 38 years old). Roger was still good, but well out of his prime. So, they only played 5 finals, and novak was in a way better stage of his career than roger for 4 of them. So it makes sense
@@bsrussian Despite that, Fed is still the GOAT. Imagine if Fed played in his prime against a prime Djokovic. I'm still taking Federer any day in that matchup.
@@calebcrawford2520 I agree. Titles and stats aside, Federer is clearly the greatest player to have ever played the game. If someone disagrees then they don't know much about the sport. Whether it is technique, point construction, all-around game, etc. Federer is the best
The ones against murray for me are the ones he probably shouldnt have lost. With Wawrinka as inspired as he is against Novak there was nothing he could do. In US Open 2012 I thought Novak would come back after winning the third and fourth and in Wimbledon I still think that a 3-0 for Murray was kind of weird.
Yeah i was really surperised Murray won 3 0 and everyone though that it was fixed for British man to win it but maybe thats not true.Murray won another Wimbledon after that and have beaten him in 2012 olimpics which was also on grass but 3 0 is to much i think really...
Murray was a bad match up for djokovic. He also beat him easily in the Olympics, if you recall. Shame but for the hip issues, Murray would be on 5-7 slams I think. How it goes I guess.
@@Fraudkovic He was quite competitive especially 2012 and in 2014 1st set he looked easily a better player but then he tailed away as he became tired. Somehow in RG he gets fatigued quicker hence he has lost most matches here against Nadal. He loses energy in heat
too tired mentally and pysychally after playing 3 days consecutive without rest, thanks to Rg no roof and lights, he was not completely fresh in final, but Stan the man waht a player and level he shows in final of 2015 beating Federer and djokovic in a slam, is the most hard task a player could have
2012 - 2014 at Roland Garros was absolutely rough. Really felt like he deserved at least one of those. Thankfully he got his revenge later down the line.
Agree Djoko is a gracious loser, but the only time I think he wasn't was in this year's French Open loss to Nadal. It was the briefest of handshakes, and he didn't look Nadal in the face. Other than that one lapse I've seen, he is usually a warm and congratulatory good loser. I also remember Lleyton Hewitt being the same.

@@bharat201 100%. Should have been the final - so many people were talking about the Djokovic-Nadal 2021 RG semifinal, but that match didn't hold a candle to the Djokovic-Nadal 2013 RG semifinal - I agree with the many pundits that have called that match "the best match ever played on clay". What a match that was - which adds to the pain of Djokovic losing that match (it would have been heartbreaking for whoever lost)!
@@deja.vunathan Djokovic's overhead smashand touching the net still hurts Djokovic's fans..but I jumped in joy😄 as I am Rafa fan. I counted +1 to Rafa slams and then reaslized an hour later that it was just Semis.
@@bharat201 Yes. I remember that net touch as well. But the final game of that match was what surprised me much more - three unforced errors on routine shots for Djokovic to drop serve and lose the match was what really struck me - especially after the rest of that match. Crazy. And I am a Rafa fan as well so I hear you on the adding 1 to Rafa's slams originally too but then - oh yes - this just FEELS like the final lol!!
Nadal and fed are the worst in when it comes to congratulating the opponent when it comes to loosing... They don't even look into opponent's eye or they don't even try to hug their opponent.... Murray nole and even wawrinka are so humble even when they loose.
Yeah, it's weird. 8-0 in AO but only 3-6 at USO I think. The US courts have slowed down a lot in the last few years but if anything, he likes the slower courts. I guess freshness or lack thereof plays a part, which might explain why the first three slams have been won solely by the Big 3 in the last five years whereas USO has had a different champion each year in that time, with none of the aforementioned trio reigning supreme in the last three years.
Ngl he was always the villain for me growing up as a fed fan but in the past 4-5 years I’ve really grown to like him now that they’ve all been cemented as top 3 greats
sem. the media jus painted a really bad picture of him. he is one of the goats, and the most versatile player of all time. but my fav will be fed n stan
Could have lost 2 more, Federer on 02 occasions failed to convert 2 Championship Points, that too on his owner serve... Nevertheless credit to Nole for holding his nerves when needed the most...
5 Nadal (3 US Open - 2 RG) 2 Murray (1 US Open - 1 SW19) 2 Wawrinka (1 RG - 1 US Open) 1 Federer (1 US Open) 1 Medvedev (1 US Open) I mean he lost SEVEN US Open finals... that must hurt so much even for the GOAT.

@@waholoopesorry74 Nadal is ONLY the favourite at French open. There, he is the heavy favourite. He will never be favoured over Djokovic at AO or Wimbledon. Even at the US open, he has more titles, but let’s be real…Djokovic has 9 finals appearances. And Djoko realistically could have 5 titles (he had a great chance this year but couldn’t play and let’s not forget what happened in 2020). Nadal has 1 more USO title but a lower average level there. So no, Nadal wouldn’t even be favourite there with Djokovic playing (especially after 2014).
@@bigbywolf5031 Nah he’d probably be the RG 2016 favorite, USO 2014, 2012, Wimbledon 2009. The rest he’d be among the top 3 favorites. Saying that he wouldn’t be favored is laughable. He’s won 22 grand slams yet according to you he’s probably not the favorite anywhere. Doesn’t change the fact that he wins.
with the fact that he was deported from Australia this year, he will probably get a 3 year travel ban, at least he should according to their law. So that would be most likely his chances for AO gone then.
Donno about Nadal. I thought the same about his FO titles in like 2014. But he keeps finding ways to win that one and unbelievable that he still won in 2022. Could be another 3-4. who knows.
