I'm sure the other side could make the same statement with their pov. The truth is just that...truth based on facts not opinions. But, when people decide that truth is not absolute, you get all types of answers..whatever tickles the ears. Every time I see a Walmart employee, Verizon employee or anyone in a customer service industry uniform, waiting for a bus or walking home from work, It really brings home how corporations keep people poor…the country we live is becoming something that will be unrecognizable…..🥺
The government helps them do it. They will give them tax breaks and pay for infrastructure for them to build stores in the community based on the premise that they bring jobs. But all jobs are not good jobs. The jobs they bring don't pay enough wages. Many of Walmart and Amazon employees have to rely on tax payer dollars in the form of medicare, food stamps, subsides rent etc. all while tax payer dollars keep Amazon and Walmart etc. subsided. It's a vicious cycle and the uninformed will help keep it alive. DL is correct they hand these ppl a false enemy that is not the one keeping them down so they won't see the ones who are.

I was born in 1973 in Central Illinois because my parents fled Memphis in 1961...I know why my dad left the south and now at 49 years old something struck me the other day when I looked at it, the poorest states in this country now were the poorest states when I started school in Peoria Illinois in 1978, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia...all southern states with significant black populations, 55% of the 43 million blacks in America still live in the South and its those same southern states that have the poorest citizens in America since I've been alive, food for thought.
