So proud to have an articulate public servant who takes the people’s side in this regardless of finger wagging by corporate owned elected officials. I will be watching closely to make sure this guy isn’t pushed out and if he is I will wanna know exactly who did it

Hawaii needs to set the standard and not support destruction and war. Preserve culture and promote sustainable growth.

Depends what you mean by sustainable growth. They use that term now to support green, walkable, 15 minute cities under tight control and surveillance. Is that what you mean?

It is an eye sore to see the military along saddle road. Let alone in the islands. In addition those white things on Mauna Kea. Leave go back. Don't need you here

Another very important thing, when using 'eguity claims' on a property for example, when implemented it should be clear that every accountant knows how this thing, is design to work.

If? Can Hawaii afford to lose the lease revenue and the dollars spent by the military members? Will losing the upstanding members of the local communities worth it? Maintaining military outposts gives our military a foothold with basic infrastructure that may be needed should conflicts come to that area of the Pacific.

The military pays a symbolic fee. It doesn't even benefit Hawaiians.

I don't think the military pays much to lease land there and furthermore it is not there to give you protection.

Pick which country you want to take over, cause the Hawaiians will be subject to someone other than the USA, if they chose to get rid of the USA. Military is responsible for the original, basic infrastructure you have now, schools, library’s, post offices etc. No one has to like it, doesn’t matter because Hawaii is a strategic stopping off point for the defense of several countries.
