Y'know, I kinda actually like this 2013 version of Vergil in DMC than I do from the Original one. Whereas the original Vergil (named after the Character from The Divine Comedy of Dante's Inferno who is an Actual real Mythical Figure of the same name btw.) was a Power-Hungry, Cunning, Emotionless, and Sociopathically Coolheaded Edgelord This Vergil is alot more Sympathetic, Principled, Modest, & well Intentionally Moral Revolutionary though he loses points for those on the Power-Hungry lart earlier, as well as being Deceptive, Arrogant, and Misguided. Then again cuttting him slack TBF, it basically was Mundus's Fault in both continuitoes of DMC the whole reason why Vergil as his Motivations/Purpose at will Fell to the Darkside.

This game really suffered from the confused promotion material like it is a reboot, a prequel and a alternate continuity, if they focused just on the third it probably would have done better still would have got some hate because it would be compared to DMC but would have been lesser since it is not getting this instead of DMC 5 ever Would like a sequel would even be able to go into the angel bloodline effects more
