I can't seem to manage to do sequential cuts. Whenever I press trick after the judgement cut, Vergil just teleports towards his target instead of doing back to back cuts. Sometimes, I get the timing right and only do one cut after the initial cut but can't continue it. Am I missing something?
I have in faith in u brother. Just need at least a whole day to practice it You also don’t need to hold triangle/Y Only initially when you begin Then from there you just slide triangle/Y to circle/B really quickly & rinse and repeat
i used the trick ability before seeing this video to fly thtough heaven & hell and hell & hell. its flawless and i highly recommend it for the final two difficultys. awesome video. you showed even more trick cancels then i knew about when i did this.

It may be easier to do the 1st 3 set of JDCs but to really keep going is almost impossible. Kinda miss the way it was done in 4SE though.
I still play a lot of DMC 4 even today and i dont know how i managed to pull it off, but its one of the major things thats very helpful when doing LDKS mode on mission 2. Seen so many buy other combos and stuff for vergil to beat just mission 2, and i beat it with base vergil, working on no damage since i couldn't find any on youtube
OK so after much trial and frustration I figured it out. All you're doing is letting go of the melee button a few milliseconds earlier to avoid doing the long judgement cut.
I can do consecutive perfect judgement cut, but not as fast as seen in the video and I am not sure if this is because I am using a different method or because you have turbo mode on. It confuses me because what I do is faster than anything you can do regularly, but not nearly as fast as yours. If I try to do them any faster with my method, the cuts just don't come out before I trick. Please help. :D

This trick is so hard, I can do ONE lol, and not consistent, holy balls. Maybe my controller is bad for this, I'm sliding from triangle to circle and it does nothing. Tapping triangle and circle frame perfect has worked a few times, the sliding method is awful for me lol. MY FUCKING THUMB! xD
I think i say it in the video, but i don't use a sliding motion for this. More like a "rocking" motion, or a wave, if that makes more sense.. Tip of thumb to ball of thumb, back to tip
@@GarudaPSN I can do three or four. Your technique works fine, I was just confused. I thought the regular JC was necessary to do the judgement cut cancels. But I have been having good results after I figured out I didn't 'have' to do a regular judgement cut to start with. I also didn't know it was because I was moving forward with my JC cancel. Either way, YAY!
@@GarudaPSN Can you explain why you do the long backstep Judgement cut first? When I do it, I pretty much cancel immediately into trick/jc in the air, then I can continue to jc/trick But I couldn't get the timing right to cancel like you do after sheathing, that seems like pro frame perfect timing :) Basically I just holder triangle till Vergil is about to do a perfect judgement cut, right as I let go I slide my finger to circle. I can't do it out of a regular judgement cut like you, it looks super dope though!
@@zion6680 i think that clip just happened to be like that. the subsequent clips i go straight into the JC, like you're saying. And the sheathing is just what helped me get the timing down. goodmclear effects
Does JC cancel still works? I have been trying to execute it for like 15-20 minutes. I understand that i need more practice but wanted to make sure that it is still possible to do this trick in the game.
What do you mean when u said negative edge and button depress? Also it's harder on console because there isn't a bloody palace with a training setting and so on console they die way too easily
google the location of one of those medusa statue things that only breaks if you do an sss combo, can practice on those all day as long as you let the counter reset

hmmm, somewhat. In my case i hold Triangle with the tip, and at the right moment press O with the "ball" of my thumb, somewhat simultaneously releasing triangle, and the hold triangle again. So it's more of a rolling, wave motion, than a slide.
I don't understand i just keep missed, my first attempts on ground always work and bring my character to air and instantly release judgement cut but i can't continue to the next 1, is that because of i'm not using Xbox controller? Is that work on keyboard?
You've completely lost me at 3:02. It looks like you've reversed a frame in the video. So basically, it's > hold melee while attacking > hold trick when Vergil inserts sword back into sheath > then let go of melee immediately?

There's a technique similar to the multiple cuts in DMC5, but it's not executed like this at all. if you search "DMC5 multiple judgement cuts" you'll see a plethora of tutorials covering it. Good luck

Just one question: Every time an enemy is stabbed with a SS when I try to perform moves that make use of the style button (like kick-13) I'm unable to perform those attacks because Vergil does Grim Trick instead. Can someone help me please? the only way I found was stop pressing the Lock-on button.

Completely possible. My Combo Videos can prove it if needed, eh. You just lack training or didn't figure out how to press the buttons. In case of Judgement Cut Cancelling (which comes with "rules" in order to work), sliding with the thumb from Triangle to Circle helps. You still need proper timing. Try it with Upper Slash.
Melee attack that is using weapon to attack with weapon ( Yamato, beowulf and force edge ) not with summon sword right. I have this question because I'm a beginner of this game and a reasion to play is POWER 😂
