Damn I didn't realise Klokov could bench so much, 190kg for an easy paused double. Bench is not part of a weightlifter's training program yet there's Klokov benching more than powerlifters. That's insane.
I watch every Dmitry Klokov video on youtube 3 times. First time to look at his smile, second time to look at his lifts and one more time to look at his chest.
That's probably genetic issue not interfering the capability to produce power as much necessary in weightlifting and the other sports. I noticed also that his feet position is not equal in starting position, probably because of some problems like twisted pelvis. Also we can see twisting in the final position in the jerk, same problem exists in Toshiki's Yamamoto lifts btw. So even pro athletes have some muscle and bone imbalances and issues.
@@user-hz2mk8fh7h Dmitry never became a scientist. He got stuck with being a lifter. Not a bad place to be when you're that famous. But being a scientist is a completely different cup of tea. I.e. your brain becomes the opposite of broken, contrary to what happens to you when you're done with lifting.
So you think that being exclusively a scientist is any good? You will never amount to anything in your life if you keep that mindset. People are capable of excelling at very different things at the same time.
