klokov is going literal ass to grass so idk how you can say this is ego lifting at all. bet you can’t even squat 225 so i’d shut up before you make stupid comments
I obviously can't do 200+ kg for 5" with ass-below-grass like that beast Klokov, but I do 150kg for 3" at depth (think powerlifting) or below. For a standard, commercial gym, that is a head turner for sure ;) And the weight will go up in the future. So definitely give it a go, dude! (Obviously I don't train for the looks others may or may not give me, but on occasion it can be fun to notice)
@@Nasosdag Right now im doing 180kgs for 3 below parralel at 83kgs BW but I have to scream like a bitch to get the weight up cause that's an RPE of like 9. Working sets 170 for 10x3. DUP programming of 3 days a week of squats of day 1: 3x8, day 2: 5x3, day 3, 3x5 got me from 140 RPM to 190 for 1 in 4 months. Goals 240 for this year.
@@aaronsinson3263 I imaginr you mean itll take 2 years from scratch? What about from your current 180kg, how long will it take you to reach this years goal?
Of course. Powrrlifting is a bastards sport. Butchered ugly sumo deadlift from the beautiful clean and jerk, awful, pathetic bench press where it hardly even moves 2inch, and ugly suited good mornings that look like the lifter is giving birth
Is it beneficial to pause as long as Dmitry is here? I always pause between 3-5 seconds but many coaches are saying that it is bad for you. Any thoughts?
+Z Dmitry, for sure. I'm still doing pauses between 3-5 seconds, but I'm also still curious about what the potential benefits/downsides are from those long ass pauses in the bottom.
