The guy was right about the ice cream maker. Except they used ammonia instead of freon back then. Ammonia is still used in cold storage warehouses and other commercial applications.

I love the steam show. I used to follow them when I lived in IN 20 yrs ago. It brought great memories. Your traps were missing Dawn dishsoap.i use them for gnats. I guess the soap stops their wings. Then they drown. Bees might be different. I haven't tried it on them yet. I always enjoy seeing Scotty in your videos. I loved those of you 2 when you were running with him. 👍❤️✌️🙏🇺🇸🛵

That old tractor show was very kcool. The Idaho State Fair has a similar display of working farm equipment albeit much smaller, it has quit a variety to show. Besides the farm animals, its the only reason I go to the fair.

What fascinated me the most, was the fact that every piece of equipment had an "auxiliary shaft". You just attach a belt to the shaft so you could run another piece of equipment. Brilliant!

Yes, the bees/yellow jackets were the worst this year. Was interesting to see the giant steam engine running. They didn't have it running last year when we walked thru. Hoping you make it back to Maryland and get your bike up and running again.

they aren't bees, they are actually a wasp. bad every late summer/ fall here. just let them be, for the most part, move them out of the way with your hand and the wont sting. Worst case, I have to carry two epipens with me till freeze . funny thing is horsefly bit will kill me quicker then a yellow jacket sting.

Yeah, meat bees. Some years really bad in the mountains. Take a coffee can or whatever, fill with water 1, 1.5" from the top. Lay a little board on top. Smear some soft cat food on the board and flip it over, food towards the water..put a squirt of dish soap in the water to break the surface tension. Plus it's a surfactant which coats the bees and keeps them in the water. This works i tell you true👍🏻

I think the first motorcycles used a leather belt for final drive, and used a lever activated pulley to engage and disengage power from the engine. Just like the little yellow tractor in your video. I saw some Yellow Jackets devouring a dead Cicadas. Ya, they don't seem to be vegan.
