People show more love after you die, that album wouldn't have went platinum until the year after if he didn't die. And DMX sold 500,000 in the first week, on both albums.

X isn't hasn't been getting the backing that he used to have. The beats don't match his fire and passion.. This dude has one of the most unique voices in the game and it's not getting put to good use.. We know that he has his personal problems but as far as a Emcee, he's one of my five favorite.

Even when X was at his most mainstream with And Then There Was X he still kept it hardcore and real mostly. There will probably not be anybody like X ever again nobody can touch his legacy he left not just in the music industry but the movie industry too and his autobiography is a must read. He is also great at Billiards and would do well as a professional in that sport. X has earned his stripes and does not need to prove himself even before he was a artist in the industry he did not have anything to prove because to be part of the Ruff Ryders you had to do some work no matter your Race, Gender, Height, Weight, Religion, Political Views, etc.

I remember hearing him do this live , I used to look forward to the Tim Westwood radio show in radio 1 , I think it started at 9pm ,Friday nights , during the late 80s and through the 90s the Westwood show had the very cream of the crop when it came to hip hop and rap .
