Wet day so in the Man Cave, time to clean and re oil the DNA Air Filter on The Royal Enfield Classic 350 having covered 10,000 miles since fitting it a year ago...
Your racking the miles up on the Warrior Bruce! ,great stuff, I've just passed 6, 000 miles on mine since last July, (still waiting for my standard tyres to wear out so I can fit the K60's ! )😆The service spanner lit up today, I'm doing my oil and filter and valve clearances this weekend , but I'm still on standard air filters for now . But your video just shows how much crap can get in there depending on the conditions we ride in eh! Interesting to see ! Cheers Mel 🍻
Hi Mel, wont take you too long to service the 350 😁👍 Clear skies here this morning so I’m off out for a morning solo spin on Warhorse, i never did wash her 🤣😁👍
This has been in back of my mind. Will do this nearer end of summer, if we ever really get one. I did remove, and use the blow function of the garage hoover. And 2 inch Harris brush. I got a K&N in the Rebel, because the DNA was 20 quid more. Cheers Bruce, will give this a go latter in year. Bumble getting a rest for now, It’s Rebelene time, for the mo.😂
I have K&N spray oil for my car filter, and I bet it will work on my DNA as well...just saves some time vs liquid. Also, I am never riding in conditions like you do - mine is babied in the city and I probably will die of old age before I need to change it!
Hi Bruce. I`m a bit confused as to why you would cruise at 45 to 50 mph in 4th gear and not use 5th gear 🤔. My Classic will happily go along at anything faster than 30mph in 5th gear, unless it is climbing a hill, of course.
Hi Dave, i was just cruising at 45/50 mph on the winding roads to save labouring the chain too much, My bike will also go as low as 35 in 5th but feels smoother and happier in 4th at those speeds 😁👍
