I’m super into ancestry! Although I’ve never done a test or used the site I would like to! I love knowing more about where I come from. There’s a mix of a lot of things for me, but I’m primarily English, Irish and German. Also from Prussia! So I was excited when you mentioned that. 😁 this was a fun video to watch. 😊

Those dolls are cute

I did Ancestry years ago, and over the years my admixture numbers have fluctuated a bit, but I'm pretty much all north and northwestern Europe. My breakdown is 67% England & Northwestern Europe, 17% Scotland, 5% Sweden & Denmark, 5% Ireland, 4% Wales, and 2% Germanic Europe. I was always rather underwhelmed by my ethnicity results, I had hoped to find something unexpected, something from outside Europe. Growing up I had heard tales that I had a Seminole Native American ancestor, but that wasn't detected by Ancestry. When I uploaded my DNA to GEDMatch and used their Eurogenes tool to analyze my DNA I got a different breakdown that did include traces of Native American DNA, but I still don't think that proves it beyond all doubt, it could just be 'noise', and there is a margin of error for all these values. I think it's wonderful that your indigenous Australian DNA is still significant enough that you can see it in your DNA profile.

Wow! i was somewhat right. i assumed that you were Dutch a/o Scottish. The genes are very strong in your family. You look very much like your grandfather. Lovely clone doll!

Well, I knew 'Irish' but wow! Also France and Germany? Just like me!!! (Though I have Maltese mixed in there instead of Irish. But my grandfather was German, too... hence my surname! ;) ) I do remember you mentioning your indigenous heritage but didn't know about the Scottish! Those Kelly dolls ARE very cute in their national costumes! Love that clone with the 'Tania' face ... Didn't Germany's Karina from the 70's also have that sculpt?

your irish, scottish and welsh heritage is celtic. Those are celtic countries culturally, ethnically and linguistically (language died pretty much off though). The sweden/denmark and germanic europe are both germanic. They come from the germanic root just like the celts come from the celtic root speaking in tree terms. the eastern europe and baltic can be added too, too slavic. That your one part is from prussia could lead to the baltic and eastern european is pretty much possible.

Wow you have so many different ancestry origins, I’ve never done any of those tests, but as far as I know I am half Spanish and half Mexican as both my last names are old well rooted Spanish names and my mom knows her grandmother was actually a Mexican indigenous person while her grandfather was a Spanish immigrant and more or less the same goes to my father’s side, but the Spanish genes are more evident on my mother’s side where almost everyone is a reddish blonde with light eyes… I know many people of different ethnicities so I am quite good at spotting their ancestry just by looks… 😜

my ancestors came over on the ARK. Your heritage is human. I had that set. I used to collect Kelly dolls. I donated all of them before i moved. I'm not a fan of Chelsea...they look blank. Kelly looked more cute.
