I'm glad the judge told the mother how wrong she was. Too many of our children don't know their father and this mother was wrong on all levels especially since the potential father wanted to know so he can have a relationship with his daughter. Just like the judge said, look at all the things the daughter missed all because of her mother.

I see this too often on Paternity Court. I couldn't imagine being pregnant with someone's child and boom they're dead. Then to not want to prove who your child's father is when you slept with multiple men. To put your child and her potential father, family through mess.

It can only be that percentage if they did the father which they cant do because he is deceased, so his mother is the closet thing they can do. And the percentage will naturally be lower since the son only has half of his mothers DNA.

Grandma is a woman with a lot of love to give not to mention forgiveness... Notice she reached out for a hug first. The mom is blessed and hope as the judge said the lil girl will get all that love from her grandma that her dad couldn't give. I get a feeling the reason the mother refused the DNA test might have to do with the relationship she was in. Perhaps she was playing games with paternity with the other side as well.

I love and respect Judge Mathis so much . Often times people need tough love to understand the error of their ways . The grandmother is SUCH a beautiful woman and soul . I’m so happy that is her grand baby . When she went over and hugged the young lady it just melted my heart . Although I do not agree with the young ladies choice of denying the father paternity testing , I felt for her by her reaction or lack there of . I think as a woman of what a blessing this grandmother can be to her granddaughters mother as well .

It appears to me that the young woman was hurt by the assumption that someone else might be the father. If you've only slept with one man, then you know who the father is. For some women, if that is questioned then bye. She never asked for money or nothing. But at least now they know.

Judge Mathis REALLY went in on this potential baby mother! I think she may have refused the paternity test possibly due to the 1 night stand issue or she may have wanted her boyfriend to automatically assume he was the father. The deceased was popular, already had 2 sons & the fact that 4 other women(possibly more) came fwd claiming that he was their👶🏽's father(which he wasn't)meant he was indeed "VERY popular.😏 She may have simply been embarrassed.
