Im surprised Connor went for a monk class considering he plays a bard in The Unexpectables and a pact warlock in Roll With Me. Everyone else is as expected.

Great first episode. Just got caught up on the Unexpectables and now I have a detective show to go with it. I think everyone nailed their characters for their first time. Very nice to see Bosco not playing the straight man for a change too.

Oh, I love this already! The setting is really cool and something fresh amongst all the medieval stuff. Modern fantasy is pretty rare, especially when it doesn't hide the fantasy-elements from the general public as an easy way out, and I'd totally run something like that, if I could worldbuild better or if Eberron didn't confuse me. On a completely different note: Lucy is absolutely adorable and I love her and she needs a hug. Seriously.

Since the campaign hosts it's final session 2 weeks from now on March 26. I need to say a few words. But before I start, let me make this as a message to anyone who is listening to this in the future. Number 1! Beware the spoilers in the comments (including this one, we like to blame Bosco for things and the comments will either be backseating, blaming Bosco, or FULL of spoilers so. Yeah. Beware of that! Number 2! Holy. Crap. Get ready for an emotional rollarcoaster. These characters are gonna grow on you faster than you think they will. Just be prepared for the worst and look forward to the best! Now It is time for my super sentimantal almost-post-show-but-not-quite message of grief... I have not been able to donate, or bit drop, or anything like that. But I have been here since the 6th episode. And WOW. I first showed up after a Hunicast, Bosco had mentioned Taka and the gang and it sounded very interesting. So I searched out the channel and looked around. Right there, with only 6 episodes. Laid the Prince Division. I was originally going to start with The Unexpectables. But seeing it had a good hundred episodes, it seemed a bit scary (this was my first full out campaign i'd ever listened too. I'd heard a few oneshots but I had never commited to listening to a super long DnD campaign before, so.) Something I could catch up on was perfect for me! Low and behold, summer of 2020 in the midst of the pandamic, I made it to about episode 5. And then I stopped. I don't remember why I stopped, I think it might have been because school started back or whatever. But I stopped. I hadn't really gotten invested in the characters yet, as I said, I had only listened to oneshots before. So I was used to getting the whole character instantly and loving them after an hour or two. However, the story did succed in getting me interested. But not enough to go crazy, sit in the chat and wait an hour for the next episode went live or anything (haha, forshadowing). But it had me hooked enough so that over the next year and a half I would occasionally go back and put it in the background. There were moments when a certain episode would have a cliff hanger and I would literally get anxious. THAT was when I realized I was in it for the long run. Though I was listening every once in a while, I wasn't listening enough to even remotely keep up with the series. (I recall being on the "Who, what and why" episode the night that epsode 30 was published, lol). But I was on and off for a good while... Until, January of 2022. I had caught covid. My head hurt, I was tired all the time, but I couldn't sleep. So. I decided to pull up the Prince Division. Since I had joined back right at the time the officers were about to go deal with the orcs, I wasn't TOO interested in that plot. But I didn't have anything better to do. So I pulled out my Switch and played Fallout: Shelter as The Prince Divison played in the background. *33 episodes in 21 d a y s* With each episode spanning about 3 hours and 21 days being about 504 hours. roughly 1/5 of my day was spent listening to these idiot officers go brr FOR THREE WEEKS STRAIGHT. And it was a w e s o m e The orc situation with the kids, as well as Duruzub and Gibby got me HOOKED Anyway, since then I have been a full out fan of the PD. As an EST'er, The sessions don't end until about 2-3 AM for me but HOLY COW IT IS WORTH IT. And with the campaign coming to a close in 2 weeks.... wow. I don't believe it. Since I wasn't entirely focused on the first few episodes. I didn't recall the fact Monty said it was gonna be a shorter campaign from the beginning. So with me going in with nothing but looking at the unexpectables episode count, I was sure we were gonna be here for a another 3 years but. All good things have an end I suppose. I just want you all to know how thankful I am for all of this. The amount of memories this has given me, all of these reactions you have gotten out of me, all of those times when something would happen and I would have to pause the session in shock, or pause because I was laughing, or pause and sit there with my head in my hands because I was about to cry. Thank you all, so much. You all were an AMAZING intro to long term DnD campaigns and an amazing comfort to go back and rewatch as I grow. In conclusion; thank you Ms.Monty, thank you Mr.Connor, thank you Mr.Arcolf, thank you Ms.Sarah, and thank you Mr.Bosco. For giving me an amazing show, an amazing comfort to come back too, and amazing characters. Just know that whatever comes next, I will be there. And I will stick around this time! I promise. This is why DnD 3.5 and Pathfinder have Take 10 and 20 rules, because given enough time and resources you can succeed at anything or at least avoid the randomness of the universe.
