yeah hes very risk reward, i like how you can play safe and do combos that dont use conversion to keep your health high, or u can spend it all and go for a 2 touch game if you're confident.
I dont know that I'm a fan of raw activations as Zerker. You risk WAY too much. Small activations mid combo and a cash out feel like probably the better route to go.. You get a solid reward and set up nice pressure and continued mix with a conversion on deck at all times.. But a MUCH smaller one. You're losing single digit health instead of basically full comboing YOURSELF to add a little extra damage. I feel like judicious use of command grab to heal your white life back is also pretty important. I like to do something extremely simple like (while in berserk) just hit special again for the special followup and when it sucks them in, conversion cancel before the final portion of the attack, which leaves them in cmd grab range. Cheeky but effective. Obv this isnt universal, different situations, different strats, but just as a general rule. I like your play a lot, just giving some personal thoughts on general strats,
I pretty much know nothing about this franchise, but Zerker is standing out to me - I love crazy ass types like him. Very interesting that he has to sacrifice health for... I suppose more power/combo options? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Does he actually have a name or does he just go by "Berserker"?
"Berzerker" is false advertising tbh, he is a crazy ass but you have to have a degree in harvard to play, a lot more strategizing than you would think, should be called "Professor" or smtn(i'm joking i main this character, very hard tho)
Berserker was my main in dfo its nice to see hes become the poster child and ryu of this series. However in the real game they hoed my man its unfortunate. I wonder if this newfound popularity would get them to give the character the love he deserves. for all the hp loss you would expect him to be the strongest raw physical damage class in the game but sadly that falls to female striker.
@@mimiktyme1466 monk would be sick to. I think if they were gonna expand on a sequel they should give you the option to choose your class. Then each class has a sub menu with the specific classes for that class able to be selected. I played avenger so itd be sikh to have him in the game. The only issue i see tho is if they dont doversify their cast. Ex summoner/mech kinda the same. And some classes are just garbagw like necromancer who needs an overhaul
I enjoyed playing this game. It's a bit similar to Blazblue not only in mechanics; some of the characters are somwhat similar to characters in BB - especially the Berserker, with his spikey hairstyle, abrasive attitude and his dark powered one hand. But the plot is a bit too short. I wish there were more dynamic between characters like it was in BB.
Normally I like ghostblade, but when I see your berserker gameplay. Especially those low sword spin combo string.... Makes me question my main. Ghostblade for like though
So I guess everyone's ok with hitman doing 50% chip from 2 plus on block specials back to back and then deleting it plus another 40% from a 2A mash....
hmm... nice to see a match where a scrub, no-brainer, cheap ass, berserker gets what he deserve!!! now, I wish all other characters get buffed like this Hitman over here... like having any sort of of counter for that scrub's high priority, long ranged, and safe normals and specials!!! that way, a berserker main will have to actually use his brains for once!!!!
