He projected a defense mechanism by saying "Billions of lights years away". While unfathomable, there are thousands of exoplanets within 50 light years. With our current technology, yes it's impossible to traverse that distance but understanding how much we don't know through what we know. It can be speculated that our advancements in 100-1000 years will be unfathomable. Now imagine another civilization more developed than a much more capability and efficient method of traversing space with better understanding of physics.

He doesn’t believe an alien space ship could crash on a planet different from its own after traveling billions of light years. I guess by his reasoning anything we’ve ever sent to another planet like mars for example always worked 100% when it arrived and was deployed. Being smart doesn’t mean your without flaw or things can’t go wrong. Especially if your traveling to a place that maybe you’ve never been to before but only theorized about. So many possible reason why a crash could happen and I would argue is more likely to happen then not.

Aliens? Lol! It’s interesting that we want to interpret intelligent life and space craft crashes in the same paragraph. Rat neurons could be considered non human biologics! Scientist have been able to teach and grow neural peptides and interface machinery like aircrafts and computers. The public consideration of biologics is limited to their interpretation. As an example; intelligent extra-terrestrials could also be defined as artificial intelligence, but the mind wants to create fishlike creatures from Enceladus for the term aliens…the problem is that humans will create new creatures using already known animal prototypical features…answers will only lead to more questions

That being said, there ARE recognisable patterns and formations in the universe that converge with living organisms on earth, from plant to animal/human life. So there's a possibility organic life elsewhere follows similar patterns in its evolution but will just appear slightly "off".

Three dimensional shapes are not often described by the general public, people from the ground see two dimensional shapes. In these hearings these pilots are referring to observe closed shapes, nature creates open geometrical shapes…in summary there are man made shapes and nature made shapes…one is more perfect than the other…

Exactly, but so is straight up believing that WE witnessed such beings, what are the odds that they move around in a physical transportation device like we do with cars, and that out of all the places they could have been found, they were found in the US by the US government. I get that America is responsible for a lot of the world's important affairs, but it seems a little suspicious to me if aliens ever made contact with us directly through the US government, assuming the aliens don't have the technology to determine who would be the best place to go to if they wanna interact with our planet lol
