Yes. Art is ultimately a very PHYSICAL endeavor and we lose some dexterity and fine motor skills as we age. The experience of decades can help skillful artists compensate for or hide this but Father Time wins all wars. There are some artists in their 70s that come to mind for me but I'm not going to drag them for aging

Most of the extreme 90s era artists got worse over time, especially after they all found fame and money. At marvel they were decent. At image they went full “Liefeld”.

I think artist get tired. Once they really get established they feel whatever they do is ok. Same with Picasso I've seen plates and things he painted late in life and like I reckon it's art if you say it is

I think it's laziness and cashing in on their name recognition. There's so many artists that still illustrate the way they did 30 years ago. McFarlane still draws and inks as well as he did in the late 80's.
