Excellent video. Amrit is commonly misunderstood, and so this needs to be shared more widely. Our interpretation is that (external) Amrit, can be used to start a spiritual journey (via discipline, regime and rehit), but (external) Amrit shouldn't be conflated with spirituality in and of it self. External Amrit isn't essential to start your spiritual journey, and too often it is being interpreted as a sort of 'potion' which boosts your spiritual state. You make the point quite well that you can be a more spiritually elevated person having not taken the (external) Amrit, than someone who has.
This veer is so right, and hes brave enough to say it. Once you reach the internal, external will come.And if it doesn't it's HIS WILL, as says the Gurbani.
Go and read the Gurbani with a view to understand the message, rather than arguing for the sake of it. No one can reach the State of Amrit unless AKAAL Purkh Hukum. After " external will come" there is full stop. This point is my belief that once you have reached internal state of Amrit BrahamGiani status, -external will inevitably naturally come. And the next point is, if it doesn't, it's HIS WILL. Pretty straightforward Regardless of what you accuse me of. Perhaps I should of worded differently so it was easier to understand.
Truth is how many really care for naam Amrit. And Amritdharis today aren’t really the pinnacle of brahamgyan either, splintered in their groups. So reality is a deep silence. Let thy will be done. Let the deaf taste the nectar 🙏🏼

interesting, I don't understand English well but what I understood was that satisfaction is within us and we must know how to drink nectar that is always within us

I respect Bhai Satpal Singh, but all Mahapurakhs who have followed our Guru’s word have all said that Anmrit Sanchaar is a must. Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji, Sant Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib, Sant Attar Singh Ji Mastuane, Sant Puran Singh Ji Kericho wale to name a few. It is how you affirm your guru, receive the gurmantr and rehat. I’m no scholar myself but while I understand the point Bhai Ji is making, I respectfully disagree with some of the points made in the video but that doesn’t negate the great work Bhai Satpal Singh has done.
What Bhai Satpal Singh Ji is saying is absolute facts. Think about it logically Ang. 1365 of Adhi Guru Granth Sahib "Kabeer, when you are in love with the One Lord, duality and alienation depart. You may have long hair, or you may shave your head bald." Also, do you really believe that before Sikhi, no one had reached sachkhand/enlightenment? Everyone was lost? Of course not, and GGSJ even quotes Baba Farid and others for this very reason. Taking amrit, as in the external, is not a MUST in order to reach the absolute pinnacle of spirituality, however, if you have chosen a path and your Gurus have given you instructions, then it would be highly advisable to follow this path 100% Waheguru does not require to do any special ceremony or keep your hair in order to realize it; the 5ks are to breakdown the ego. If you are already "it" then you don't need to "do" anything to realize "it". All that is required is an absolute letting go of the illusion and that is done by going within and seeing the truth.

Charan pahul used to exist and naam used to be gifted by Mahapurush to their vidharthis and premis before the time of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Bhagat Kabir Ji, whom you have cited, appeared in front of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj begging for amrit and Maharaj granted this request

I have been deeply considering taking Amrit, I’ve been waiting for “my” turn, for the opportunity, for this Kirpa… and at the same time I’ve been focusing on experiencing my own Amrit daily, simran, nitnems and just falling in love with Waheguru Ji… the more I do it, the more I want to merge with Waheguru Ji… perhaps He Will bless me with this initiation into deepening this connection… thank you for all your videos. Many of Guru pyare commentators are not listening and trying to understand the complete video. External Amrit is a dress code which reminds us of our duty to find and enjoy internal Amrit. It can work both ways, you can find internal Amrit and then external Amrit Or start your journey with external Amrit
You're better off by starting off by doing naam Simran, nitnem, listening to katha etc, then slowly starting keeping the 5 K's, then once you're ready to take amrit you take it, it's nothing something that happens over night it takes time to take Amrit, it took me 3ish years to take Amrit, but at the same time don't be confused and think you don't need to take external Amrit, it's very important to keep the 5 K's if your Guru can take Amrit that shows you how valued it is, no one is bigger then Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, after you take Amrit that's when you start to increase bani, do santhiya etc, that's when you start to increase
To my understanding Guru Gobind Singh ji started this External Amrit as a label of Khalsa who succeeded to drink internal Amrit because he also drank external Amrit as an indicator for having experienced the real Amrit. The state of Khalsa itself is the experience of Internal Amrit.This way he could spread awakening for the rest of the followers. He did not allow every one to take external Amrit. No and that's wrong to think like that, taking Amrit is important, if you have a cleaner mind then Guru Gobind Singh Ji and say you don't need to take Amrit then you're not getting the point, having both Amrit is as important as one another, the 5 K's are as important as the Amrit inside
I think Sikhs should be encouraged to take amrit, lets not start more divisions of external vs internal, as amritdharis also have to constantly fight the 5 thieves on a daily basis. We all have to deal with life and Sikhi helps us navigate through it. I wouldnt sell the "external" amrit short. It guides you along the right path. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh 🙏🏽

Religion is an entry point to spirituality. Separateness or Otherness (contrast, duality and plurality) must be used to realise the essence of Oneness. Instead, people are lost in their respective beliefs (sans the deep esoteric meaning those beliefs symbolize). This has lead to fanaticism and in some cases Radicalism.❤
Baba ji, you can't judge taking amrit from the punj pyare based on what amritdhari are up too. Khande batte de amrit comes from Guru Sahib. The Guru never called it an external amrit. How did you come up with this new manmukh term (external amrit) for something the Guru blessed the Khalsa Panth with? By your reasoning, reading Gurbani (Guru given teaching) can be called something else because some people read Gurbani and don't devote themselves to it.

It's strange how the video guy, makes a similar point as mine, about the internal Amrit vital FIRST. And so many viewers relate to his point. Also I would never 'bash' the Amrit I have the optimum respect for Amrit Dharis. Clearly, you do not understand and just are hell bent on your own take, without lending an ear of consideration to anothers point of view. FYI, ABSOLUTELY no one can 'appropriate Gurbani' The Gurbani is just Perfectly Appropriate. The common connection here is, we both have clear love for our Gurus and our eternal Guru, Granth Sahib. And thats what matters. Throwing accusations about at people you don't even know who are entitled their own thought process, is why we as a Race are always at logaheads with each other. Learn to respect others opinion. And yes believe it or not it is from ordinary people by HUKUM, people become Brhamgianis. 3rd Master is a perfect example. Acha pher, sat Sri Akhaal.
Starter....the human is a material body made externally from 5 elements: air, water, fire, earth & ether. The human body cannot exist or live without the spirit soul internally. Which has 5 spiritual powers in contrast to the material body. Greed, Anger, Lust, Egoism, Emotional Attachment. This bond or tie created a living human. Water based 'amrit' only washes the body of the 5 elements, water does Not Purify or even touch the soul. One is material the other spiritual. Deeds are Not Cleansed by this water, for deeds arise from the heart & mind. This record of deeds is recorded on the soul. So water based 'amrit' is just an Illusion or a false show. *The human body of the elements is already dead, in line for burial or cremation @ the appointed Time. * The soul never dies & is reincarnated in the 8.4 million species.
