Now that I've had some experience with the Guac from Photo Booth Supply Co (check out this video for my pro's and con's) I wanted to share with you my thoughts and recommendations on which photo booth I think you should start with.
I cover some of the most commonly asked questions like: "Do I regret getting the Salsa first?" and "Should you get the Guac or Salsa?" and "If you could start all over again, which one would you get?"
If you are brand new into the photo booth industry, or are just thinking about adding a new photo booth to your business and aren't sure where to begin, my hope is that this video helps answer some of those commonly asked questions.

Cost of Salsa Booth plus iPad, plus iPad data service to prevent WiFi issues. Did you already have an iPad and wiped it back to factory status? Ideally you would need to also purchase lighting and props. Then the cost of a website template, hosting, etc. There is much more to the start up than the Salsa Booth purchase. What were your true start up expenses? How many events did it take to recoup your initial investment? That would be valuable information.

I talk about this in length in my earlier videos! My iPad I added to my phone plan, I added lighting and a printer as well. Props I got as I needed to, and because I invested in quality, they were a one time investment based on the theme of the ideal client I was targeting. I also have a video on why you don’t need a ton of backdrops. 100% the business costs will vary depending on each individual. But as a broke single mom that made it, I can raise my hand and say it’s possible. And if I can do it others can too.

To answer more specifically to your questions, it took 3 months for ROI. And about 6k in startup expenses.

Oh no! Haha sorry to throw you for a loop there! Taking some time to reflect on your goals can definitely help here. Who are your ideal clients, what is their budget, how quickly do you want to scale, all of those can help you find your answer. If you want to be hands off - salsa is the easy answer. If you already have a network and clients - you could do well with guac. Starting from scratch with no prior experience- salsa.
