Hey, new sub here. I have a mk5 gti dsg, and I'm always thinking m140i vs golf r, in a few years I'm hoping to be able to upgrade. The m140i is soo tempting the golf r seems generally bit boring, but I think I just absolutely love my mk5, for £3500c its stage 1 light weight and 270 ish bhp, it pulls strong and with its few suspension mods it handles amazing Don't know if I'd want to sell it, 2 years ownership still puts a smile on my face eveytime, or do I upgrade but 3-4x the price would a m140i/golf r really be 3-4x the car for the money!
How often are you using the gear box in auto sport mate? Every time you're in sport+? Just curious I hardly use mine as the rev range is a little to much for our little roads. What do you think?
