Down 6/2 4/1 in the 2018 Moscow final, Daria Kasatkina was in bad shape. Here is what her coach, Philippe Dehaes, said to her at this crucial moment to change her mindset and lead her to victory. www.tecnifibre....
That was an incredible final! Her opponent was a playing so well in the tournament and was a clear underdog. Kasatkina, she played absolutely amazing and did exactly what her coach told her to do. I was so happy for her.
Wish they allowed on court coaching at all tournaments. I find it fascinating to see the coach player dynamic and to witness the different coaching styles. I'm also a boxing fan, which might explain my preference.
