Installation of sarking is vital as a barrier to protect the home and improve its thermal qualities. Sarking keeps the heat in and the cold out. It also helps waterproof the build. Sarking should be installed to manufacturers specifications and lapped at the joins minimum of 150mm. All joints are recommended to be taped but not critical.
