Our ancestors had a lot of superstition and Islam seems to stand on the same side. But it seems they didn't have the resources back then to investigate the morality of that prophet or it was hidden from them, I don't know. We know well what happened to the earlier scriptures, the Torah n the Bible, which were both corrupted by the People of the Book. To give such a irrelevant and foolish argument simply shows the lack of scholarship in history of Islamic hadith sciences. We should be thankful to Allah and the Hadith collectors, who spent their entire life into carefully preserving the authenticity of materials even up to this days. But are we not foolish to argue on a matter, simply and clearly against the Shariah, n the Quran. You just have not proven anything that the Quran allows a man to marry a 6 year old girl or a 9 year old. And the Prophet didn't live a life against the shariah. That's a historical fact. Why waste your time defending a person, who lived 200 years later, why don't you think that it may have been a mistake by those who lived even after imam Bukhari, or his students and that's much possible, since we are all only human. Insha Allah, we don't need to defend such an event or things which didn't happen at all in the life of the Prophet n are against the Quran, the Hadith s and the Islamic shariah. I do not know why Muslim scholars now, not all, go all the way to defend something which didn't happen, according to historical evidences, and something which no Muslim men from the time of the companions till today practice, that is, marrying a 6 year old girl and cosummating the marriage at 9. And the worst thing they do is, to slander both the Prophet and Aisha, peace be upon both, giving long useless lectures quoting Kings and tyrants and Mushreeks, to justify their act of marrying children and attributing the same act to the beloved Prophet of Islam. According to the biography of Asma, the older sister of Aisha, r a, Aisha was 10 years younger than Asma. r a. Asma was born in the year 595 AD. The Holy Prophet married Aisha r a, when she was about 19 years old, ( 27- 10 =17 +2 = 19) Marriage was 2 years after Hijrah. Asma born __ 595 AD Aisha born __ 605 AD HIJRAH __ 622 AD Marriage __ 624 AD THIS SIMPLE CALCULATIONS ARE IGNORED BY MOST OF THE PRESENT DAY ULAMAS, for some unknown reasons to protect the authenticity of the hadith books, which cannot be 100 % mistake proof. But the fact remains that Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, and all the other imams of Hadiths, didn't make such a claim in their writings that their works are equal to the Quran, which is the Only BOOK, Protected from any errors by Allah. We have to tell them the truth about the fabricated reports and that was how the enemies of Islam do their works. They could not touch the Quran, so they tried their hands in the Hadiths, especially the modern orientalists. And also the problem of mass conversions from Judaism and Christianity, which brought in some Unislamic materials into hadith literatures. Are they not afraid that Allah will question them why they create such a fitnah,??. I know these scholars have many followers in the social media. It is related in the hadiths that the Ulamas of the Akhirul Zamaan, only go after fame, money and followers. May Allah guide us all. And give us those genuine Ulamas to lead us in these difficult times. Ameen. "Allah sent the Prophet ( and Islam ) with guidance based on truth and that this way of life may overpower other systems not true , even though the unbelievers may detest it " (Quran 9; 33.) He (the Imam) said, ‘If his son has any assets mahr (dower) is on him but if the son does not have any asset then the father is responsible for mahr (dower) whether he accepts such responsibility or not.’”_* *H 9674, Ch. 64, h 4* _A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from all from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from abu ‘Ubaydah al-Hadhdha’ who has said the following:_ _“This is concerning my question before abu Ja‘far, (‘Alayhi al-Salam), _*_about the case of a boy and a girl for whom marriage is arranged by their guardians and they are not mature yet [i.e. reached puberty]._*_ He (the Imam) said, _*_‘Marriage is binding and whichever becomes mature has a choice but if they die before maturity there will be no inheritance between them and no mahr (dower) unless they become mature and agree with the marriage.’_* _I then asked, _*_‘What happens if one of them becomes mature before the other?’_*_ He (the Imam) said, _*_‘It becomes binding on him if he agrees.’_*_ I then asked, _*_‘What happens if he becomes mature before the girl and agrees with the marriage, then he dies before the girl becomes mature; if she can inherit him.’_*_ He (the Imam) said, _*_‘Yes, her share of inheritance is kept aside until she becomes mature, then she is made to take an oath that nothing has made her to claim the inheritance except her agreement with the marriage, then it is given to her as well as one-half of the mahr (dower).’_* _I then asked, _*_‘What happens if the girl dies before becoming mature and if the husband who has become mature can inherit her.’_*_ He (the Imam) said, _*_‘No, because she had the choice upon her becoming mature.’_*_ I then asked, _*_‘What happens if her father is the one who gives her in marriage before her becoming mature?’_*_ He (the Imam) said, _*_‘Marriage which is arranged for her by her father becomes binding on her and on the boy and mahr (dower) is on the father in favor of the girl.’”_* So, as you can see, it is not just allowed accidentally, bc of a "loophole" - the omission of a specified minimum age for marriage - BUT it is actually fully intended for child-marriage to be legal within the Islamic jurisprudence *and* also highly regulated. But to deny the actual status of the Hadith s as a very important source, but with a very neglegible 5% margin of error is doing injustice to Revelation, The Quran, which Allah Himself had declared that it will be protected from Corruption of any kind. We know well what happened to the earlier scriptures, the Torah n the Bible, which were both corrupted by the People of the Book. To give such a irrelevant and foolish argument simply shows the lack of scholarship in history of Islamic hadith sciences. We should be thankful to Allah and the Hadith collectors, who spent their entire life into carefully preserving the authenticity of materials even up to this days. But are we not foolish to argue on a matter, simply and clearly against the Shariah, n the Quran. You just have not proven anything that the Quran allows a man to marry a 6 year old girl or a 9 year old. And the Prophet didn't live a life against the shariah. That's a historical fact. Why waste your time defending a person, who lived 200 years later, why don't you think that it may have been a mistake by those who lived even after imam Bukhari, or his students and that's much possible, since we are all only human. Insha Allah, we don't need to defend such an event or things which didn't happen at all in the life of the Prophet n are against the Quran, the Hadith s and the Islamic shariah. I do not know why Muslim scholars now, not all, go all the way to defend something which didn't happen, according to historical evidences, and something which no Muslim men from the time of the companions till today practice, that is, marrying a 6 year old girl and cosummating the marriage at 9. And the worst thing they do is, to slander both the Prophet and Aisha, peace be upon both, giving long useless lectures quoting Kings and tyrants and Mushreeks, to justify their act of marrying children and attributing the same act to the beloved Prophet of Islam. According to the biography of Asma, the older sister of Aisha, r a, Aisha was 10 years younger than Asma. r a. Asma was born in the year 595 AD. The Holy Prophet married Aisha r a, when she was about 19 years old, ( 27- 10 =17 +2 = 19) Marriage was 2 years after Hijrah. Asma born __ 595 AD Aisha born __ 605 AD HIJRAH __ 622 AD Marriage __ 624 AD THIS SIMPLE CALCULATIONS ARE IGNORED BY MOST OF THE PRESENT DAY ULAMAS, for some unknown reasons to protect the authenticity of the hadith books, which cannot be 100 % mistake proof. But the fact remains that Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, and all the other imams of Hadiths, didn't make such a claim in their writings that their works are equal to the Quran, which is the Only BOOK, Protected from any errors by Allah. We have to tell them the truth about the fabricated reports and that was how the enemies of Islam do their works. They could not touch the Quran, so they tried their hands in the Hadiths, especially the modern orientalists. And also the problem of mass conversions from Judaism and Christianity, which brought in some Unislamic materials into hadith literatures. Are they not afraid that Allah will question them why they create such a fitnah,??. I know these scholars have many followers in the social media. It is related in the hadiths that the Ulamas of the Akhirul Zamaan, only go after fame, money and followers. May Allah guide us all. And give us those genuine Ulamas to lead us in these difficult times. Ameen. "Allah sent the Prophet ( and Islam ) with guidance based on truth and that this way of life may overpower other systems not true , even though the unbelievers may detest it " (Quran 9; 33.) The mission for the Muslims , clearly given in the Quran, as , " You are the best of peoples , evolved for mankind , enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong and believing in Allah ." (Quran 3: 110) May Allah(God) Guide us on straight Path. 00
