As a Christian who has read the Bible, I can tell you Muhammad is not featured in it. However, the Bible does warn of false prophets, which Muhammad was, so I guess you can say he makes a cameo.
I have just read the whole of the old testament, after reading the new testament. First of all , WOW Old Testament is fascinating, it’s an incredible book that will make you wise beyond years if you study to grasp its concepts. Secondly , the whole book clearly points to Jesus , throughout the whole book. Jesus is there . This is something that can’t be explained by people who haven’t read the bible but it’s truly an amazing phenomenon. Thirdly , I can tell you clear as day that Muhammad isn’t in there .

Paul was a false apostle or prophet just like Balaam. See the following example: Paul said in 1 Corinthians 8:8-10 (KJV): 8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; Here, Paul is saying that if a believer sits in the idol's temple to pray over his unclean meat offered to idols, then suddenly that unclean meat becomes clean and he has all the rights or liberty to eat that meat sacrificed to idols. But that believer should be careful so that a weak believer does not see him when he sits in an idol’s temple to pray over his unclean meat offered to idols which will be a stumbling block or sin to that weak believer. Because then that weak believer will be encouraged to eat those things which are offered to idols. In other words, Paul is approving by saying believers has liberty or rights to eat those things which are offered to idols using his crafty reasoning just like Balaam. Paul never obeyed the orders of the disciples of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus forbid three times to eat food sacrificed or offered to idols In front of Paul in Jerusalem in the following three verses in the Bible. Acts 15:20: but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood. Acts 15:29: that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell. Acts 21:25: But concerning the Gentiles who have believed, we wrote, having decided that they should abstain from meat sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled and from fornication. Again in the bible in Revelation 2:14 says as follows: Revelation 2:14 (KJV): “But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” Revelation 2:14 (NIV): “Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.” So Paul is clearly teaching the doctrine of a false prophet Balaam which goes against the teachings of Jesus. Romans 5:20: The law was brought in so that the trespass (sin) might increase. Romans 7:13: The law makes you sinful beyond measure. Romans 10:4: For Christ is the end of the law. Galatians 3:13: The law was a curse that Christ redeemed us from by becoming a curse. Ephesians 2:15: Christ has abolished the law which was a wall of hostility. Romans 6:14: For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law. So according to Paul, Christians are not under the law because Jesus has abolished the law and redeemed you from the curse of the law by becoming a curse. Look, Paul even called Jesus a curse. So Paul was preaching and teaching that you don't have to keep and practice the laws and commandments of the bible anymore which is totally against the laws of the old testament. But when Paul was arrested and stands on the trial, he always lied so that he can make a way to get rid of the trial. We can see his lies in the following verses: Acts 25:8: Then Paul made his defense: “I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar.” Acts 24:13-14: 13 And they cannot prove to you the charges they are now making against me. 14 However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect (Judaism). I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets, Acts 26:20-21: 20 …… I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. 21 That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. Acts 28:17: Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: “My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans. Again to persuade people that Paul’s gospel was true, Paul always resorted to swearing that he was not lying. But this only proves one thing that he was in fact lying. Look at the verses of Paul in the following: 2 Corinthians 11:31: The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying. Galatians 1:20: I assure you before God that what I am writing you is no lie. 1 Timothy 2:7 (nkjv): for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle, I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying, a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. Romans 9:1 (nkjv): I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, So what compelled Paul to swear that he was not lying. An honest person will never swear in telling the truth. But a liar will always swear in self-defence that he was not lying. But Jesus expressly cautions against this in the Bible in Matthew 5:34-37 (nkjv): “34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; ………..37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” So according to Jesus the evil one is Paul. Because Paul always resorted to swearing that he was not lying. But in fact, Paul was lying.

I go to prepare a place for you. ……. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Here Jesus was talking about spiritual matters but Thomas was thinking about some geographical location to go. So to answer Thomas, Jesus said in John 14:6 (nkjv): Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” If we break up the statement of John 14:6 in detail, then we will find the followings: No one comes to the Father except through the way. No one comes to the Father except through the truth. No one comes to the Father except through the life. Because Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. Now, according to Jesus what is the meaning of this 'way’, 'truth' and 'life' ? Let us analyze in details in the followings: Look in John 14:2, Jesus said that in the Father's house are many mansions. He will go in the Father’s house to prepare a mansion for the disciples. If Jesus was God, then he did not have to prepare a mansion for the disciples in the Father’s house. Because then Jesus would have owned the entire house or heaven with all it’s mansions in the first place. So the Father is the owner of the entire house or heaven with all it’s mansions. So the Father is the only true God and Jesus was only a prophet of that God. Further, the verse clearly states that Jesus was the “way” to a mansion. He did not say that he is the “destination” which would be the case if he were God, the destination of all worship and prayer. What else would we expect a prophet of God to say except “I am the 'way' to God's mercy”? That is his job. That is what a prophet does. It is why God chose him in the first place; in order to guide to the mercy of God. This is indeed confirmed in John 10:7-9 where Jesus tells us that he is “the door” to “the pasture.” In other words, he is the “prophet” who guides his people to “ heaven”. John 10:7-9: 47 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. ……. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.” Jesus is the way to God. Every prophet during his time was the way to God. At the time of Moses he was the way to God. The children of Israel chose another way through golden calf, it was not accepted from them. At the time of Noah he was the way to God. If you had to get saves, just get into the ark, that is all ! At the time of Jesus he was the way to God. Now what is the meaning of “truth” which Jesus was talking about in John 14:6. Look at the following verses by Jesus. Jesus said to the Father in John 17:17: “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” John 8:31-32 (nkjv): 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” So the laws and commandments of the Father is the truth. If you know and abide by the laws and commandments of the Father, then you will go to heaven. Now what is the meaning of “life” which Jesus was talking about in John 14:6. Look at the following verses by Jesus. John 12:49-50: 49 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.” Matthew 19:17 (nkjv): So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” So the laws and commandments of the Father lead to eternal life. If you keep and practice the laws and commandments of the Father, then you will go to heaven. Finally, remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” So if you do not do the will of the Father, you will not enter into heaven. In other words, if you do not keep and practice the laws and commandments of the Father, you will not enter into heaven.

Paul was a false apostle or prophet just like Balaam. See the following example: Paul said in 1 Corinthians 8:8-10 (KJV): 8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; Here, Paul is saying that if a believer sits in the idol's temple to pray over his unclean meat offered to idols, then suddenly that unclean meat becomes clean and he has all the rights or liberty to eat that meat sacrificed to idols. But that believer should be careful so that a weak believer does not see him when he sits in an idol’s temple to pray over his unclean meat offered to idols which will be a stumbling block or sin to that weak believer. Because then that weak believer will be encouraged to eat those things which are offered to idols. In other words, Paul is approving by saying believers has liberty or rights to eat those things which are offered to idols using his crafty reasoning just like Balaam. Paul never obeyed the orders of the disciples of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus forbid three times to eat food sacrificed or offered to idols In front of Paul in Jerusalem in the following three verses in the Bible. Acts 15:20: but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood. Acts 15:29: that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell. Acts 21:25: But concerning the Gentiles who have believed, we wrote, having decided that they should abstain from meat sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled and from fornication. Again in the bible in Revelation 2:14 says as follows: Revelation 2:14 (KJV): “But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” Revelation 2:14 (NIV): “Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.” So Paul is clearly teaching the doctrine of a false prophet Balaam which goes against the teachings of Jesus. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. لَآ إِكْرَاهَ فِى ٱلدِّينِ ۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّشْدُ مِنَ ٱلْغَىِّ ۚ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلطَّٰغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ لَا ٱنفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 256 There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve - their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. "A malecha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking a foreign language) spiritual teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be Mohammad. Raja (Bhoj) after giving this Maha Dev Arab (of angelic disposition) a bath in the Panchgavya and the Ganga water (i.e. purifying him of all sins) offered him the present of his sincere devotion and showing him all reverence said, "I make obeisance to thee. O ye! The pride of mankind, the dweller in Arabia, Ye have collected a great force to kill the Devil and you yourself have been protected from the malecha opponents." Well done, as always. As a Christian (I'm not proselytizing, just giving background) I do believe that Muhammed is not mentioned but alluded to, in the NT. Joseph Smith as well (eerily similar) in two particular passages: The letter to the church in Galatia mentions that, "...even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed." Paul is here admonishing the church that there is not another Gospel than the one he has described (indeed throughout scripture) and to beware of false truths being paraded as such. He also writes in the second letter to the church in Corinth (also pleading with them to avoid being deceived by false apostles), "...And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." I've always found it ironic and interesting that both Muslims and Mormons to one degree or another, tentatively accept that the Injil is or was in the possession of the early Christians; but that the very scriptures containing the Gospel WARN PLAINLY that visiting "angels" with very different stories might arise. To accept that Gabriel (or Moroni) was who their recipients claimed they were, and then adherents re-define everything that came before to support those new recited/received messages, is difficult to understand, at best. I was recently in exchange with a Muslim on this matter. I asked for an example and he gave Isaiah 60:7:- "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory." Apparently Kedar and Nebaioth were the "evidence". Needless to say i pointed out that neither Islam nor the Final Prophet could possibly be extrapolated from this passage and also it was an extremely vague prophecy with no hint of when.

You have asked some major questions about prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) (the Spirit of Truth) mentioned in the Bible. So I need to answer those questions. You have misunderstood all the verses of the bible. Your understanding is superficial. So you need a detail explanation. Now read carefully all the following explanations to clear your misconceptions. John 15:3-10: "3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. …..7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. …..9 ……….. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love." Now what do you understand when Jesus said that “remain in me, as I also remain in you”. It does not mean that Jesus is physically and literally inside his disciples' body. What it means was answered by Jesus. If the disciples of Jesus keep and practice the teachings of Jesus (words and commands of Jesus from Father), then they will remain as a believer with Jesus. And they will remain in faith with Jesus. Now in John 14:16-17 (KJV): "16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." The above verse does not mean that prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) lives with the disciples at that time and he will be in disciples physically. Because you can see that similar or same types of language were used by Jesus (for example, Remain in me, as I also remain in you) in John 15:3-10. Another thing is that Jesus will pray to the father after his departure for another comforter (The Spirit of Truth). So the comforter will come in future. So this coming of comforter will be a future event. Even the world did not saw or did not know about the Spirit of Truth at the time of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus remain in the same faith as a believer just as the faith of that future Spirit of Truth. So Jesus said symbolically that they know him. And the comforter will abide with the disciples forever. Now did all the disciples still alive forever in the world. Of course not. What it means is that the teachings of the faith of that comforter will remain in the world forever. So he was talking about prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) as the Spirit of Truth. Again if you still argue that the Spirit of Truth is not prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). It is the Holy Spirit. Then look again the Holy Spirit was already present before Jesus and at the time of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus already had Holy Spirit in them given by Jesus himself. So 'The Spirit of Truth' is not same as 'The Holy Spirit'. They are totally different. The Spirit of Truth is a truthful prophet and that prophet was prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). To hide the event from the bible about coming of prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), bible translators mix them up so that nobody can understand their real meaning properly. Look at the following verses: Luke 1:41: When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 3:22: and the Holy Spirit descended on him (Jesus) in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” John 20:21-22: 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Now look at the verse in John 16:7 (nkjv): “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” So the mandatory condition is that the Helper (the Spirit of Truth) will not come if Jesus do not go away. So the previously mentioned Holy Spirit in Luke 1:41, Luke 3:22, John 20:21-22 and the Helper (the Spirit of Truth) in John 16:7 are not the same. The Spirit of Truth (Helper) in John 16:7 is the holy truthful prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). Again if you look at the verse in John 14:26: “26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” The prophesy of this coming Holy Spirit ( advocate or paraclete) requires that he shall remind mankind of the words of Jesus or teachings of Jesus. He is telling his followers that the Holy Spirit (paraclete) shall “remind” them of the message of Jesus. However, if the followers of Jesus already know and remember all that Jesus taught them, then how shall the Holy Spirit (advocate or paraclete) “remind” them of something which they already remember? Obviously, the coming Holy Spirit (paraclete) shall come in a time when the teachings of Jesus have been forgotten and require one to “remind” the teachings of Jesus. Here, the Holy Spirit is a truthful prophet who will remind the world all the teachings of Jesus that was commanded by Father. Again if you look at the verse in Matthew 12:32: “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” Look, even you will be forgiven if you speak a word against Jesus. But if you speak against the Holy Spirit, you will not be forgiven, either at the time of Jesus or at future time. Logically you can not speak against an invisible being. So the Holy Spirit is a real human being. So we can say that the Holy Spirit is the holy prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). Why you will not be forgiven if you speak against the Holy Spirit or the holy prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him)? Because then you are actually denying the full and final message from God which were delivered to you by prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). He was the last and final messenger of God. Again if you look at the verse in 1John 4:6: “We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.” So we can see that the Spirit of Truth is a truthful human being or a true prophet. A true prophet will always listen to Jesus or agree with the teachings of Jesus and he will never deny the teachings of Jesus. Jesus always preached and taught all the laws of the old testament throughout his life time on earth. So the Spirit of Truth is not an invisible being. He is a real truthful prophet who acknowledges the teachings of Jesus. Jesus himself said that the 'spirit' and 'prophet' are the same person in 1 John 4:1. He used these words 'spirit' and 'prophet' interchangeably for each other. Another thing is that if the spirit is not a prophet then how he will confess or declare to everyone physically about Jesus. Because people can not test an invisible being. But Jesus advised everyone to test or try the spirit or prophet whether he is from God or not to identify false prophet. Look at the following verses of Jesus. 1 John 4:1-3 (kjv): 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. Now can you say, How to identify false prophet (spirit)? The answer is very easy and the answer is given by Jesus himself in 1 John 4:2-3. Here, Jesus is saying to you that if any prophet (spirit) confesses that Jesus (Christ or Messiah or anointed by God or appointed by God or messenger of God) is come in the flesh (means come in just only as a man not divine or God), then that prophet (spirit) is from God. But if any prophet (spirit) confesses that Jesus (Christ or Messiah or messenger of God) is come in not simply as a man (flesh) but as divine or God, then that is a false prophet (spirit). Why is this try or test to identify false prophet (spirit)? Because from the very beginning, Jewish people were falsely accusing Jesus for blasphemy of being God. But Jesus was always denying their accusations. So he knew that after him, false prophet will arise from the Jew and will declare Jesus as divine or God which will be a blasphemy. So according to Paul, Christians are not under the law because Jesus has abolished the law and redeemed you from the curse of the law by becoming a curse. Look, Paul even called Jesus a curse. So Paul was preaching and teaching that you don't have to keep and practice the laws and commandments of the bible anymore which is totally against the laws of the old testament. But when Paul was arrested and stands on the trial, he always lied so that he can make a way to get rid of the trial. Again to persuade people that Paul’s gospel was true, Paul always resorted to swearing that he was not lying. But this only proves one thing that he was in fact lying. But Jesus expressly cautions against this in the Bible in Matthew 5:34-37 (nkjv): “34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; ………..37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” So according to Jesus the evil one is Paul. Because Paul always resorted to swearing that he was not lying. But in fact, Paul was lying.
A question I never get answer from them is why on earth do they insist so much on picking those so said prophecies while at the same time they say the Bible and the Gospels were corrupted and the original lost ? They're clearly contradicting themselves : if our Christians and Jews Holy Books are not the words of Allah, then any prophecies about their prophet inside are everything but prophecies ... logic!
I was hoping that you'd talk bout this major topic and you did! I've met several ex christians who converted (sorry, Reverted ;)) to islam because they had read the famous line in the Bible announcing the arrival of Mohammed. Funny how those people were all in very close relationship with Muslims. I've looked for that line in the bible in vain, but they would swear it was there, thus becoming immediately Muslims. Next topic: the supposed perfection of the quran ! How many time have I heard that only a God could have written such perfect text. @@Remake5182What matters is the contents of your heart not whether you consider yourself atheist or christian. If Jesus were so petty that He needed worship, He would not be God. Live a good life. Be kind to others, love your family and friends, do things which you find meaningful, be responsible for your community. Beware of the darkness which all humans hold in their hearts, and try everyday to do that which is right and resist any temptation you may have to do harmful things (for yourself as much as for others). There is no need to believe in supernatural events to live your life in such a way. And if you do live like this, or at least sincerely do your best, then (from a Christian perspective) Jesus will have made his way in your heart and opened the doors to the Father in Heaven. I don’t deny that there are some extremist Christians which believe harmful things like if you don’t believe in Jesus literally you will burn. But the Bible is about what Jesus stood for spiritually, so it makes more sense to many Christians (most that I know) to understand it like I described.

Seriously, God very clearly spent millenia grooming the Jews to be the nation from which His messiah comes, and all prophets only came from the Israelites. Since Allah is supposedly the same god of the Bible and the Quran and revealed both of them to man, if he makes fundamental, contradictory statements between them (such as Jesus dying or not dying), he cannot be God, as God cannot lie.
The relationship between Muslims and Christians has made me think about the relationship between Christians and Jews. Of course it is obscure for me (as a Christian) to think that these passages have anything to do with Muhammad, but why then should I be surprised when Jews think the same madness when I think Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 are about Jesus? I'm sure in the Jews' eyes, we are one in the same, even though Jesus actually does relate to those passages.
