Most pro-Palestine protesters are the ones denying the rapes and atrocities that occurred on October 7th. These leftists claim to believe all women, except when it comes to "Zionist" women. Briahna Joy is rolling her eyes at the mere mention of these events. While they demand attention for their own injustices, they scream genocidal slogans and chant in support of Hamas and Hezbollah. It's frustrating because these protesters don't genuinely care about Palestinians; they're using the protest to voice other grievances.

🇬🇧 British Ex-Actor Here 🇬🇧 I can’t believe you’re giving this man a platform… I usually love The View. I am an ex-actor, now in my 40s. Kevin came to London, UK and became “resident director” here at one of our most prestigious theatres ‘The Old Vic’ - while I was in my 20s. It is an open-fact (I won’t even say ‘open-secret’) between male actors during the mid 2000-2010s that he would get way too ‘friendly’ and impressionable/desperate actors who really wanted the job could be easily preyed on. He auditioned hundreds of handsome young men… none of which could ever tell him to *** off. We were young men in our 20s, we may not have been under-age but I still find it an abuse of power and abuse of position - if as a starving actor you are being invited for ‘chats’ at bars, and ‘career discussions’ back at his apartment. I am SO SURPISED there hasn’t been an expose or a documentary about his tenure here in London… I am a gay man myself, I want the world to hear we do not all prey on other men! I came across a lot of directors, casting directors, agents who did try and abuse their position to sleep with me. It was common place - it happened perhaps more easily 15 years ago then it does now… Post ‘#MeToo Movement’ people are more open about this stuff. Anyway, I think he’s a slime-ball and I hate seeing his public rehabilitation - it’s sickening to see him trying to make this comeback, when I don’t believe the worst has come out yet about him.

@ah7910
@ah7910 8 дней назад
@@camy3018 Thank you for clearing that up Camy. Can I be honest? I saw the thumbnail and read through the comments before I hit 'play'. Then got angry as I thought they were interviewing him themselves, and decided not to watch it. I'm glad to hear he didn't get a platform here (especially during Pride Month) and thank you for correcting me. I honestly couldn't bring myself to hit the 'play' button. So thank you. I haven't watched his Piers interview either... I remember Kevin's apology video a few years back when the Anthony Rapp accusation happened and I just felt like I wanted to barf. If sexual assault can't be proven within a shadow of a doubt, I do not believe anybody should have a criminal record or be sent to prison - However, we should be open about people's experiences and a celebrity's reputation. I have controversial views about 'trial by public' and accusers appearing years after an event, so I will keep those feelings to myself - however, as much as I don't like 'cancel culture' - I really don't trust this man.
@London20258
@London20258 8 дней назад
True - Piers Morgan gave Spacey the platform, The View did not. The View discussed the situation - but didn't showcase the sexual predator on their show. You are right to feel the way you do - and I too am a gay man who would never do such a thing - but don't blame The View for discussing his crimes, even though he was never convicted in the British Courts. What's wrong with the British Courts - couldn't they find enough corroborating evidence to convict him - or are they bought off - or just too lazy?
@JK-wg5rp
@JK-wg5rp 8 дней назад
@@ah7910 what is trial by public? I know here in the states we face trial by the court of law, which has a jury of our peers judge us. In this instance, we are being judged by a non biased public. The public in general tends to form irrational opinions without legal creed or basis. I understand you may have an extreme view on the topic, so why not surrender to a more unbiased view that aids in the progress of society and not just one's own ego. If one is to have a trial and not have a conviction, yet still face the same consequences or worse by those who disagree with the outcome of a trial... why even go through the process... why even maintain a social contract ? Polanski was not guilty of 'rape-rape', says Whoopi Goldberg 'We're a different kind of society, we see things differently, in Hollywood' actor says in defence of Roman Polanski Hollywood has rallied behind Roman Polanski after his arrest in Switzerland over the weekend for the rape of a 14 year old, with the actor Whoopi Goldberg suggesting that whatever he was guilty of it wasn't "rape-rape". As a speaker on The View chatshow on US television, she said: "I know it wasn't rape-rape. It was something else but I don't believe it was rape-rape. He went to jail and when they let him out he was like, 'You know what, this guy's going to give me a hundred years in jail. I'm not staying.' So that's why he left." Later in the programme, she added: "We're a different kind of society in Hollywood, we see things differently ... would I want my 14-year-old having sex with somebody? Not necessarily, no." This was the response from many female and some male bloggers was swift and furious. On the Jezebel celebrity website , Lindsay wrote: "We learned about Whoopi's strange and fascinating moral universe, which includes the concept of "rape-rape." This is not the first time she has gone into bat for a Pedophile and she is still allowed to work. On The Frisky Amelia McDonnell-Parry wrote: "Whoopi Goldberg, who I never expected to be a rape apologist, coins a term I've never heard before - 'rape-rape'

@@bryanismyname7583 Of course, if there is not evidence of sexual assault, he shouldn't be punished! BUT while I don't usually like 'cancel culture', I do think he should vanish from our screens. I would not usually approve of people loosing work because of false accusations - and the accusation of sexual misconduct should be viewed as false if they have been dismissed in court - But your definition of "consensual relationships" just doesn't work for me! Imagine you are young, say 20 years old, and you are auditioning for a big role on the London stage - and Kevin is going to make that decision and he invites you to his apartment for a drink, you eventually enter a physical relationship with him and it lasts for as long as your role in the show... Can you honestly say that young actor is entering that arrangement because of an attraction to Spacey? It is all about context. I know some younger adults like older adults, that's wonderful! But the dynamics of his relationships, are not in my eyes wholly 'consensual' - Should it be illegal? No! Did he do anything wrong in the eyes of the law? Probably not! But this is one instance in my opinion where I think 'cancel culture' should cancel him because it's my believe he abused his position and left a lot of people feeling used and cheap. He should wait tables, or clean cars, or be a carer or a cleaner - He abused his position and he abused his power - whether you believe me or not.

No, I don’t think he should be forgiven. If we just start forgiving these individuals who were accused of sexual harassment or sexual assault during MeToo, we’ll just be normalizing this type of behavior in Hollywood, and other people in the future who are like that will think “Well, if I do these things, it’s okay because I’ll have to do is just say I'm sorry, and all will be forgiven.” No, I don’t want that. We’d be creating a seriously bad precedent by forgiving people like Kevin Spacey just because they say that they’re “sorry.” Besides, I don’t think his apology is genuine. He just wants to have his career back and wants to avoid prison. I think all of the panel’s take on this was kind of bad in this segment.

One thing I learned to the Metoo movement is (1.) believe the victim when they tell you that it happened, (2.) don’t draw the conclusion the perpretrator is a bad guy or a bad character (3.) if you are not the victim never tell the story nor explain it or put it in your own views and morals.

Sara touched on it but it was quickly discounted. There were levels to the misconduct of these individuals and the public put each one of them in the same category. I think of Aziz Ansari and the allegation against him and how some were trying to call him a gRAPIST because of a bad date. Kevin Spacey wasn't charged with any of the accusations against him. If we truly live in an innocent until proven guilty justice system, people need to let it go. Joy brought up Al Franken and it reminded me that his accuser has photos of her doing the same thing to other men... How can she claim to be a victim of the same thing that she did to men?
