There needs to be a new conversation around youthfulness and attractiveness being separate. Bella Hadid looks older than she is, and she's gorgeous. You can have a baby face and look busted.
@@earnestwilliams5272 ehhh don’t think that’s true. Some Ppl still look rough in their 20s and glow in their 30s. Youthfulness once again does not equal attractiveness.
Im 28 and Shawn is spittin and funny af. “Stop calling niggas, Unc” Also, it’s absolutely embarrassing that millennials and gen z are making these videos. Like just be normal plssss 😂 I mean I’m literally an aunt cause I have nieces and nephews but calling someone still in their 20s, aunt and unc is pretty nuts 😂
i’m 25 and mfs have been saying i look older than what i am (by no more than 5 yrs or so). i used to feel cool when ppl would do that until around 16 someone mistook me for 24 with 2 kids. yeah… the jokes have scarred me lowkey
@@firstlast9846It’s REALLY not, I’m the same age, I look it too but I don’t look middle-aged or anything, most of us aren’t there yet. Some definitely are but those were the old-lookin’ kids of yesteryear too more often than not. Looks maturity is such a random diceroll that it’s stupid to compare any group of people bigger than two individuals. 😂
it was literally just 30 year old women gassing themselves about looking like children and then crying when gen z was frying them tf up. it’s corny asf. there are ppl that look young but the vast majority of them don’t and that’s fine. it’s not that deep.
Idgi bc I’m finally starting to look mature and I love it. Once u hit late 20s most baby faces dissolve and I’m so grateful guys don’t think I’m a teen anymore. Idk why these people want to be seen as young
I just started seeing this and didn’t have the context of down bad millennials pushing the narrative but now it makes sense 😂. Y’all ain’t even old for real but you’re making yourselves look bad out here talking about “for our age” that’s some old head rhetoric and you know it.
1. I think once you hit your actual adult face, you stay like that for at least a solid decade unless youre livin hard/grimey. My older brother has pretty much looked the same, but with more facial hair since he was like 17. Hes 30 now. 2. I think people have a skewed picture of what "youth" is and how long it can be retained cuz their parents and parent parents had kids in their early 20s but thats not as much of a thing anymore, so people that are now single living in their thirties are shocked at how good they think they look in comparison. 3. On top of that memory is skewed, chances are most people dont have a solid image in their heads of what aging actually looks like. They think smooth/clear skin = youth for some reason, which is funny cuz you should struggle more with it as an adolescent
People really just say anything that sticks. Everything with a nugget of truth will become a trend at some point that people take way too seriously and literally.
i saw this on twitter and was wondering what gen z ppl are they seeing im 21 and work in a hospital and i get tons of comments saying i look 18 most ppl my age look younger than what they are
@@xroyalstevenx9151I say people look younger now by the way we dress back then men in there 30s where in full suits and tie which genuinely makes you look older
@Hoopergames - I’ve been mistaken for 18 a lot.. I still need ID at the bar. I’m short too - and when I shave - even more so.. safe to say - I do not look 23.
@@firstlast9846 and I tell my baby brother he's strong when he brings the milk in the house. Does that make him a body builder?hell no. Sometimes we are just being nice
Im 22 and mfs be tellin me I look 18, ngl I don’t like that at all 😂 It’s especially annoying bc I was fuckin chopped when I was 18, I didn’t become attractive at 20 just for mfs to tell me I look like a kid 🙃
Cee im 28 and i still get carded in my province in canada the legal drinking age is 18 yet i still get carded and i got a neck tat i think its genes honestly
Personally I don’t mind being called old, I’m only 27 with a old soul, so really I like getting older, but there are some people pushing 30 who still act like they’re like 20. Late 20’s isn’t old, but you’re experienced. You should fr be able to spit game to people early 20’s and younger
Because I have back issues, listen to a lot of 70s and 80s music, and always tuck my shirt in at 24 I get called gruncle and if I get called that we can call you that too.
I don't know what school these chicks went to but in my highschool we had dudes who hit puberty and never stopped. 6 foot 3 with a beard and muscles that grew over summer break as a junior. I was in a small class of 20, If I grab an old high school picture it looks like 5 kids with 15 adults.
One thing is for sure that next gen is gonna apply fillers and surgeries too soon in their 20s and fuck their looks upo by they are in mid 30s. Look at Kylie for example. At the same time many millenials look healthier and well as they began some treatments just later. If you led by healthy lifestyle in your younger days you might look even better.
I’m just tired of hearing about all this age BS, at the end of the day we’re all weird for even participating in this discourse. And let’s be honest the millennials, especially the elder ones are just using this opportunity to gas themselves up.
The reason some gen Z look “older” is really just because of heavy makeup that they can easily wipe off. I’m 36 and back in “my day” we didn’t wear makeup to school, really only wore it for prom or a special occasion. So seeing a full face with contouring, lashes, filled in brows, we just don’t associate with high school students until later generations. I will say how old/young you look just comes down to genetics, lifestyle, fitness, etc. Not all my fellow millennials aged the same way lol. But to this day I get told I look younger for my age but that’s mostly when I’m in shape with certain hairstyles and no makeup.
I think gen z looks older but only cause they know make up way better than any generation you have like ten year olds being sfx makeup wizards let alone all the kids emulating their fav muas
Girl in the glasses isn’t lying, you got made fun of if you were caught wearing a wig or had fake hair besides braids or those fake ponytails. We didn’t wear hardly any makeup in high school, I went to high school 2001-2005. Why is Shawn calling her a liar lol.
I think this topic stems from people believing each year brings major changes like it does in adolescence. Shawn is right. 20-25 looks the same roughly. Most changes are weight gain and facial hair.
I’m 34 and I look younger than the average 34. But my family literally looks younger than what they really are I’ve seen some folks some of my age look older and vice versa. It’s not a generational thing, it’s genetics and lifestyle. Oh and that make up eating alot of ppl 15-37 up. Stop using too much make up yall.
Wasn’t k2 mostly a millennial thing?? Like that was the early 2010s I was still in middle school nobody was doing k2 like that in my age group 😭. Now vapes I can give you that
If anything the young gen z girls look older but they look good. It’s almost scary as a dude bc you’ll ask their age and you’ll think they’re 21 when the girl is 16 but it’s because the way she dresses and possibly make up too
They wear full face makeup, growing up we didn’t really wear heavy makeup at that age. So I naturally associate heavy makeup with an older look. It’s just a different norm now
the girl that said "millennials look younger than who "looks about the same age as us even her pfp looks lie she was born in 95 every time it comes up im like aint you a millennial too ?
I’ve been saying this since I was in my early 20’s but, making your age a personality trait is corny AF. All it does is expose that you ain’t really that fly to begin with. Lol
@@Blackhaze3000 yeah. You probably don't believe me because of what you looked like when you was 12 or somebody else but i literally look the same in the face
Yeah, I'm a Millennial and I do feel a lot of younger ppl look much older than their age - GRANTED, those ones that I see are mainly on the internet and some of them include Gen Alpha. They seem to be doing so due to the, "absence of the teenage phase", or just the effects of growing up with the internet and wanting to emulate what they see by their peers or older ppl.....or some just quite literally look older naturally...but aren't ppl like that in every generation??? I do hate to see the younger ones freak out over this though and becoming insecure while making videos asking for validation in regards to how old they look. But a good amount do look much older than me but I do not like to use myself as a benchmark cause I'm about to be 31 and I on average get ppl saying that I look 10 years younger😭 Edit: I'm finding it a bit more cringe with ppl in my group lowkey mocking these younger ones😂😂😂 Some of them are a bit delusional lol
Unfortunately they are letting young girls wear make up and wigs/weave at a young age now more than before. But again, we are aging its natural and NORMAL. I’m not about to beef or argue with a 18 yo on looks when I’m 25. People need to keep busy & off tiktok fr
The only millennials I seen complaining were women. I’m wondering if women are jealous of who the younger girls look. Ima dude and I don’t care. I also asked some teenagers how old I look and they think I’m 22 even though I’m closer to 30. (I’m millennial Z btw I LITERALLY the cusp)
Tbh younger people want to simultaneously be victims but hold all the power. Like “ahh we’re only 19” while whole heartedly believing that’s a superior age to 30 something. You’re an underdeveloped adult who needs to grow up. You’re not 8
I turn 25 in a few weeks and some ppl still think I’m 19 bc of my face AND my body weight. My fast ass metabolism won’t let me keep most of what I intake smh
I think yall need a refresher on our ages. I’m Gen Z in my mid 20s… like I fully remember when the first iPhone came out. We were not allowed to stay on the house, now my siblings Gen Alpha? They stayed in the house.
it’s not tho, it affects everyone even tho it affects women more and if you deny that, i feel like it doesn’t do good for your spirit or self esteem for the future
