I laughed so hard when he said that but then I got sad for Kanye. It shows he will cut off contact if you disagree with him leaving nothing but yes men in his inner circle
A yes man is the biggest catalyst for someone’s downfall. The way he bounces from a decent point to the worst point you’ve ever heard within seconds of each other needs to be studied
@@mudgepeeman3508being a pebble in the grand scheme of the world . Being oblivious to where power is in the world. Working mindless 9-5 being in the matrix while being controlled by someone (not the black man)
As someone who recovered from bipolar disorder and psychosis recently, i just hope he finds himself again one day. I saw so much of myself in this clip and it really scary to watch.
@@CuhhsinI think the crux of it is literally just learning to live normally while being in mood stabilizers Unfortunately, Kanye hates being on his medication, and in one of his manic episodes he convinced himself that he was not bipolar, This means until he realizes he actually is bi polar, and that medication is the only option, he is never going to be able to distinguish the difference between his crazy paranoid thoughts, and normal ones.
Kanye is so rich and famous nobody even takes this seriously. Everyone is like oh he's just being Kanye. This is literally what a mental episode looks like and it was a meme within minutes. His refusal of medication and professional help has clearly had a huge negative effect on him and pushed him to say and believe absolutely insane things like 'Im like Jesus and Hitler.' It's very sad that nobody has been able to get through to him and he takes it all as hating on him.
@@S0LILOQUY Bro he's diagnosed Bipolar and on the record that he should be on medication. Th you talking about 'as and artist' like hes immune cos he writes lyrics
It’s yes men at the end of the day ppl tried to check him (pusha, cyhi, big Sean ((they’ve all said so publicly) but ye so.. idk egotistical? That he doesn’t listen (from what they’ve said) that there’s no point trying to ground him n it’s sad fr
@@lucienpavone3443 Kanye said that being locked up in a hospital is like Chinese water torture. This is known as a simile, a figure of speech. Glad to know that you and Shawn Cee and his "what do Chinese niggas got to do with this?" comment, have shown great comprehension skills.
I disagree, Shawn, plenty of people that were in Kanye's inner circle tried to help Ye and stayed with him through plenty of tough times. But, he turned on them. Think about guys like Kid Cudi, Ye turned on him even when Cudi supported Ye through everything. Eventually, it gets old and those people can't handle it anymore.
Yes he did have people around who wanted to help , but he burned bridges with them and now the only people he has left are yes man who want to profit off him and his struggles
Agreed. He did have people who loved him but those folks left a long time ago. I think Jay Z (as selfish and evil as he is) had real affection for Ye as a business partner too. And well…we see how that turned out lol
@@ninagrace-lee8323 Jay Z is a clown and I bet Beyoncé divorces his ass and takes half of what he’s worth. Especially when it gets found out he was covering for Diddy. Everything Ye was talking about is getting light. Fucking Vultures.
I think people don't get that you can actually differentiate between admiring someone's work and disagreeing with their character. I do believe ye is an ingenious person in general talented for sure when it comes to music, fashion etc etc... But I don't have to agree with the batshit things he says. I admire his work but I really don't admire the person anymore.
No. The thing is, y’all care more about rhetoric from a fucking rapper and clothing designer more than the actual hateful ACTIONS and POLICY that people way more powerful and known than him have put in place. Who the fuck cares what he says, he’s gonna say this and then go shopping and ride around in a lambo. Other mfs say it, and then go invade a country and pass a new bill in law, go put a hit on another country’s leader to continue exploiting their people, but y’all have nothing to say to them.
its a combo of the legacy of kanye being absolutely gigantic people wanting to feel like they have some hidden information it could also be alot of them believed ts before he even started and this was their excuse to be public about it
Imagine if Jigga just dropped a new single out the blue schooling Kanye Takeover style. That would make for a legendary example of “Don’t bite the hand that fed you”
IMO the whole “bipolar” discourse is very counterproductive bc atp we cannot attribute everything he says to that. hold the man accountable as u should with other adults as well.
@@mr.j9103 defending r kelly isn’t a side effect of it either, i hate how so many fans of his are acting like wannabe psychologists whenever he says shit like this
I’m bipolar. I was diagnosed at 19, type 1. And this comment is super lame and inconsiderate and shitty to me lol. It’s fucked up because you don’t ever know when you’re acting out of character until the people around you start to react to it. It makes you feel crazy and when it happens to me I feel like I don’t even know who I am and I’m 26 now. I’m sorry, the fact that you put quotation marks around the word bipolar, makes me you sound like an insufferable douche bag.
This a little more than bipolar. His mood hardly switch these days he just rants. If he made these rants into songs most people would think otherwise. It seems like he is thinking out loud.
He’s literally only passionate about things that (barely) affect him and people treat him like a messiah😭. Why is James, age 48, Divorced, 1 estranged daughter, low-income job, worrying about jews being in power among rich people?
He talking about n**gas showing up to the LV show, like who among the common folks are attending Louis Vuitton fashion shows 😂 He doesn't give a crap about the majority, all his rants are about why he should have more money
@@jarenfromvenus yeah that’s what i’m saying, Kanye doesn’t care about the things that hurt regular working people like james but his rhetoric fools them into thinking he’s “for the people” or something
I believe that the only hope Ye has left are his kids, they can be the only way for him to come back and chill. I really want him to retire and spend the rest of his life in quiet and peace with his family.
I think it’s important to have the mental health conversations because nobody is getting anywhere with him unless he changes his perspective and gets help. Just because bipolar isn’t the *cause* for him to be a bad person, doesn’t mean there is any hope that he can fully recover and be a better person while remaining untreated. That’s just the truth. Bipolar 1 is particularly hard to treat, not only because of potentially undiagnosed comorbidities, but *because* the chemistry of the brain encourages *some* people to believe they are better left untreated. It’s unfortunately common. The only difference is that Kanye has eyes on him. No matter what social level someone is on, if they are adamant about refusing treatment, there is literally nothing anyone can do about it. You just have to accept that this is how they choose to live their life. It’s just like watching a friend that chooses to stay in a bad relationship, except their bad relationship is with themself. Their lows are so low that the highs feel better every time.
Bro this is so true. So this concept can be used as a detriment to people who are misdiagnosed ,but a lot of people with Bipolar 1 swear up down they don’t have bipolar. It’s a common phenomenon especially while being manic. I’m not a psychiatrist but I was misdiagnosed with bipolar and I’ve done alot of research on it and so many people with bipolar have experienced this. It takes people a while to even be in a space to accept help. Kanye is an a unique position because of how famous he is it’s even easier for him to believe that nothing is wrong with him. Especially when it comes to his manic episodes because he’s probably made some of his best work while being manic. But if you know what bipolar looks like it’s so easy to see that he is manic in this video. How fast he’s talking the constant jumping of ideas while talking his god complex feeling invincible feeling like every one is against you. Also not excusing the behavior but bipolar can very well make you believe in false narratives and ideas that if you were in a normal state of being you wouldn’t believe.
The difference between him having this episode and the average person having a manic episode is the fact that hes receiving validity from THOUSANDS of people on a daily basis. Thats what makes this scary is the general radicalization which has already become so prominent in our wold.
Yup. And on a LARGER SCARIER massive scale: drumpf but his fanatics are just like this egolomaniacs worshippers . But trying to say this leads to such conflict from their followers
or that they live completely different lives and have different professions and one of them may have crooked ppl in power which isnt a stretch but they some how end up being jewish
He’s having a manic episode. He probably hasn’t slept or ate in a couple days. He’s hyperverbal and tangential. I don’t understand how he hasn’t had consistent mental healthcare with all that money. It’s really sad
Kanye in these moments is 100% having a manic episode. Anyone who deals with or has dealt with someone with Mania can recognize his mental state from a mile away. Can’t say whether it’s BPD ( Borderline Personality Disorder ) or Bipolar or something else but for a fucking fact this is what a manic episode looks and sounds like and is quite literally what we mean when we say someone is “ going crazy “. Prayers for him man. That shit is actually hell regardless of how rich famous and talented you are.
This is most like bipolar disorder instead of borderline personality disorder. The highs of BDP, while still very much a manic state, tend to be more controlled and focused and can be easily mistaken for enthusiasm and charm, It’s why people with BPD tend to have large social circles. Bipolar disorder episode highs tend to be manic and very aggressive. Borderline unhinged.
Is it hell? Cause he definitely seems like he's feeling himself I never compared myself to Jesus, or Hitler, let alone both, in the same breath. What kind of shit he's on is beyond my comprehension. All I know is I see this motherfucker in the street, I'm crossing the road.
This doesn't read manic episode. It reads pinned up anger and frustration. Not everything is defined as an episode. He can get angry about his passions too
@@jalenchildress716 no. Pinned up anger is when you have been feeling things for a while and something triggers it all out. Every single human on earth has experienced it. People don't hold their tongues for so long because they are having a manic episode. Now, in some cases, you could be coming from a crash and once manic, things start to come out impulsively, but Kanye wasn't talking much about his down quiet time except for the things that were going on that has contributed to his now frustration. If someone is constantly being hit one after the other all of the time, they have to be manic to respond to it?
Let’s be clear, he tried to make himself the face of bi-polar when he scribbled it on an album cover and blamed all his problems on it. Dude needs so much help and is too arrogant and far gone to get it.
Manic Bi polar often makes you convince yourself that you don’t have it Unfortunately Kanye is not going to get better until he realizes he does actually have bi polar, and learns to live with medication
@missaliciaxxxx Yes, I'm sure he literally speaking facts here but you guys don't wanna listen bc you guys think he's crazy or having another manic episode when he's not. He's the only celebrity that's calls out the industry/Hollywood for their bullshit which the other celebrities are scared to do bc they either going to get locked up, blackballed, killed or called crazy and this is exactly what's going on with Kanye. If Kanye dies or something the higher ups did it bc he said to much if he haven't already
I honestly think kanye won’t listen to someone unless they at his level or close ~ he really think he the greatest thing ever created…… he named drop Pharrell and Pharrell a cool dude but I think even if someone very spiritual like Pharrell who kanye also respect tried to have a word with him it would go in one ear and out the other……. Plus it’s kinda hard to figure him out cause like Shawn said I think he is speaking from truth / experience of these vouchers, but it’s behind the scene things we don’t see but hear~ and it’s wild political/ beliefs in there that makes his rants “ HIS “truth but also ideology. I still feel bad for him but I feel like kanye has to evolve and humble himself to become greater. He is everything he says he is but is drunk driving the whip ( whip being who he is as a person) destroying himself and everything around but not caring enough to allow others who truly want the best for him to take the wheel to help him heal~ and change his life. Tragic.
Also no one likes being told what to do~ if he believes in the things he do ok cool, but I think he should come at them in a non-hostile way cause that’s how ppl get hurt. Or give reasons to his beliefs so we can get to the bottom, so we can know are u dying on this hill, or is this coming from somewhere ??? Example ~ if u gunna b racist I hope u don’t attack ppl, call me the n word so I know u don’t like me so I know how to move around u. U feel me 😅😅😅
@@00.50goldeneye crazyyyyyy i ain’t even know ~ I’m not excusing him when I say this but I seen “ nice ppl” ( based on the world and how they carry themselves which make ppl perceive them as such ) do wild stuff before….. so I feel like Pharrell still a ok dude to me tho, but that is ducked up lol 🦆 but also wat I said b4 a perfect example - LEMME KNOW HOW MOVE ROUND U👀 fool me once , fool me twice - 👀👀👀👀
How could a person with type-2 bipolar disorder who is unmedicated, had several psychotic breaks, and is surrounded by ppl that spark and enable his self-destruction constantly, say something unhinged during a manic episode. How could they be so paranoid that they would believe these conspiracies I wonder? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@anomaly4d89 That's exactly why he got into this manic episode. This is the same thing that happened to my grandfather a month ago, he got drunk, doesn't take medication for his mental illness, and went on a rant. Just like Kanye.
J Cole said it best Ego in charge of every move, he's a star And we can't look away Due to the days that he caught our hearts He's falling apart, but we deny it Justifying that half-ass shit he dropped, we always buy it When he tell us he a genius but it's clearer lately It's been hard for him to look into the mirror lately There was a time when this nigga was my hero, maybe That's the reason why his fall from grace is hard to take 'Cause I believed him when he said his shit was purer and he The type of nigga swear he real but all around him's fake The women, the dickriders, you know, the yes men Nobody with the balls to say somethin' to contest him So he grows out of control Into the person that he truly was all along, it's startin' to show Damn false prophets
Bipolar 2 here , and delusions of grandeur is a BIG symptom , this is literally casebook , he doesn’t believe he’s bipolar and that’s another symptom, But also his problems aren’t my normal day to day , bro needs to be careful , nothing but Love and Yes you are still able to control what you think and say it just amplifies your emotions being manic ,
I just wish ye could have a good entourage where they push his creative side alongside him but also keep him grounded and help him articulate his words whenever he’s tryna say something controversial. Like Pharrell told him in the documentary “even when you’re up, keep the same hunger” he gotta focus more on good music again rather than ranting over everything
I have a couple of friends who have bipolar, and their manic episodes can across identically to the manner he is speaking in this clip. My friends get psychosis in their manic episodes. So they become completely delusional, and paranoid. They believe things that are literally ridiculous and impossible, and there is no way of getting through to them. I've had psychosis twice, I don't have bipolar but I do have other diagnoses, but the main factor was severe sleep deprivation. The stuff I believed was completely wild. All that being said, mental health issues can be a reason but not an excuse. As in a person could say or do inexcusable things and the reason is clearly their mental health. I can understand that it could be easier gor someone struggling with delusional thinking, psychosis, and mania to buy into conspiracy theories. But Kanye made a choice to stop taking his medication. One of my friends was hospitalised during a manic episode, and once stable has continued to take her medication and is on top of it. My other friend was court ordered to take the medication. That order ran out. They struggle to always take their medication correctly, but they are aware that if they stop taking it, it probably won't happen immediately, but they will eventually have another episode. It's impossible to know how Kanye would be if he was stabilised on medication. You don't have to have any mental health issues to be a bigot or fall into conspiracy theories. The part of the clip that makes me feel he's in a manic episode is not so much what he is saying, but how he is saying it. It's all disjointed, fragments, he's incoherent, he's going off on tangents, and just rambling. He doesn't make any clear points as he brings up different things and then immediately starts talking about something else. When you have severe mental health issues, you have to take accountability, try and deal with them in the best way, take medication if necessary. It's not a shield you can use to be like "I can't help it so you just have to except my behaviour" but Kanye isn't even doing that. He's left his mental health completely unchecked, and untreated. I'm pretty sure he's even rejected his diagnosis. Even though he's making basically no sense whatsoever, and is clearly not mentally well, appears to be in a manic episode that is severe with delusional thinking... The shit he's saying is still inexcusable and not okay.
Bipolar disorder can definitely affect your beliefs. People during manic episodes say outta pocket shit without realizing it even if they don't agree. Mental illness is like that. It doesn't have to be grounded in your own beliefs
And you see that with ye. He literally paid George Floyd’s daughter tuition, has been so vocal about black culture his entire career, but his mental health is making him say stuff like that. I truly believe Kanye is a great guy that has the fate of many geniuses. I mean look at Musk or Jobs or Einstein. All of them were or are assholes, but that doesn’t take away from their genius status yk. I think the most successful often deal with the most mental health problems
yeah man it was always going to be dangerous when someone with that much power starts to lose it, this should have been corrected 5 years ago but now i think it's just too late, i hope i'm wrong but i don't think this ends well
Just FYI: Ye's album art for vultures is pretty much an exact copy of a neo-nazi metal artist's album 'Burzum', and Ye's fit has the german coat of arms on it (which neo-nazis wear cuz they obviously cannot outright wear a swastika).
20:35 What is bro wafflin about man?? 💀💀 Lowkey I just stay listening to College Dropout and Graduation on loop and never follow a single bit of what Kanye is doing anymore. I can live with those two albums forever and don't need nothing else from him.
The Harley shit is the only part of this where I’m completely on his side He showed up at Kanye’s hotel in Dubai a month ago And obv the original text is unhinged
Ye is too volatile (from this video) for anyone to want to be around him for any other reason besides self-interest. It's the mix of him becoming more standoffish and controversial while he gained so much influence that I think created this bubble around him that he both can't and doesn't want to break, since he's validated by the 'unwavering support'. And of course I'm sure whatever mental health issues he has are contributing to making him both harder to connect with and understand and making it harder for him to know who to trust and how to find actual help. Very interesting situation
Same bro I got into him this year and holy shit this man is fucking brilliant He used to be at the very forefront of progressivism too, it genuinely is so sad
the first minute of this video is exactly how i feel, his first 6 albums are legendary and Pablo is kinda like a hyper-album of all the styles he used previously, Ye, Jesus Is King, Donda, Donda 2, Vultures, I couldn't give a fuck about lol Love Kids See Ghosts though that shit slaps hard
6 minutes in & I can tell Shawn wasn’t really listening, he was just tryna find shit for jokes. Which is cool, but Ye wasn’t just saying shit. He said all the rappers spoke up against him over Jewish comments (cuz they didn’t wanna get burned for association with Ye) but when he was fighting just to be a father to his kids, nobody spoke up in his defense. None of those rappers had his back.
I think a lot of people ‘care too much’ to ‘not care’ about Kanye and his opinions/antics. we know what he is, who he is, how he is. We love Kanye and don’t have to side with all of him but Kanye also loves Kanye and I feel we do just want the best for him while it also being up to him to live his life and his experiences🤷🏽♂️
I feel like some random nigga talkin like Kanye with this much attention would be hated on a lot more but a lot of the people who love Kanye’s music let this shit slide because they can’t just like the music without blindly following the maker like a cult leader. Like we know he made graduation, you can tell him to stfu now tho.
