New Mac Tools dealer noticed my abandoned old school matco driver bit case. He asked if I needed em serviced. I informed him that the wrong name was on the box. He tore matco sticker off the box and handed me a new identical kit (yes with the irwin design) 😮. Of course the new sticker on the box said Mac Tools. What a way to gain a new customer😊 .

The best Mac/Matco dealers are the ones that don’t get upset at the fact they both sell a lot of the same tools.

@@warrenself i agree. Even our snap on guy will have his end of the year "re-branded" tool sale. The ones that stress about the fact that the tools exist on multiple platforms are the ones i stay clear off.

I am a heavy equipment Mechanic..Neiko is a solid brand, none of their stuff has failed on me. Olsa, Swanlake, Capri, Titan, Quinn, Icon, Crescent, Channellock, Orion Motor Tech, Cal-Hawk, Wera..all brands that I use and have not been disappointed with

For your Phillips bits source a set of the Vessel JIS bits. You won’t be disappointed. They will never cam out or strip. Unfortunately their longest bits are around 4 inches.

Have been using the Neiko bits for awhile. Highly recommend. Work well and are very affordable! Won't buy anything else but the ratchets from Matco. Love Matco locking flex ratchets. Prices are getting crazy lately. Costing more than my Snap on ratchets. Didn't think that was gonna happen.

Use impact rated bits from Dewalt. They sell them at Lowes. You can just buy an impact rated extension if necessary. I have used the Dewalt ones for years without much trouble. I just always keep some extra #3 Phillips bits around just in case I have a problem with one rounding out or breaking.
