And I guess I'm just too indifferent or self-centered to have ever even cared or had the curiosity & desiree to scroll through another person's phone... 😆
Good for you. You treated her right and truthful to what you are and how you feel vs what she is truly on the inside and what she thinks you are to her and to her future. Be careful as to give enough reality and do not fuck someone for being attentive to their life and yours; being too sensitive to yourself. Give it the right boundaries and when you do that you can be harsh with the boundaries. Does that make sense? In that way, your self-esteem will soar like mine and it will only grow in strength and in bounty. I get a dose of cynicism and reality when l listen to you, which is good. Everbody needs to be brought down to earth. But l can clearly tell how hurt you have been by women. I think you need to make it clear to a woman in your life that just because your a sensitive, passionate and loyal man that above all you need to be treated with respect and care. I suspect the women in your life took you badly for granted. So look for a woman that knows how to show you respect above all else. Make it clear you must be respected above all else. If you insist women treat you with respect, then they will value you too.
I have not been hurt by woman. I have been hurt by other human beings who do not see or notice my efforts and non-judgmental ways and accepting and forgiving ways only to be met with shame and guilt that a human being holds in ultimate power over everything. The depth of me leaves no stone unturned inside all my relationships and not many human beings have the self esteem to open up and dive as deep as is required for a happy relationship with me. It is not the actions that hurt; it is the fact that no matter how hard I try to better myself with humility and empathy and self-reflection; those improvements are still not enough to reward me with depth of another(s) freewill. I see you Marty, l am not so stupid as to think that you are a shallow person quite the contrary. I appreciate that " the well is deep" . I am sorry you have not been appreciated and rewarded in for your self reflection and deep thinking ways in relationships. I know your a truth teller and nothing less from others. I noticed you said you live in California. The place of movie sets and actors. I don't like superficial people eather. I like people that l can have important conversations with, philosophize with and get to the heart of the matter, that challenge me and make me think. I am not afraid to look at myself and others. I am also a truth teller. It's hard to find people like this but slowly as l get older l am. I just don't bother with superficial people that are not willing to go there. I smile and let them go on their way. I think though living in California doesn't help you find your tribe. I live in Western Canada, l am slowly finding my tribe. It's slow and sometimes lonely indevor to meet and only have relationships with these types of people. They are much more rare than superficial people. But they are here. I have friends that are especially as l get older. I just turned 50. Maybe you may want to re think living in California because of the culture. Just saying. I suspect your a Empath. You can read people before they even open their mouth. Maybe you need to seek out other Empaths intentionally. Intuitive types. I like you Marty. That is why l listen to your channel. That's the issue for men. Women are not held to the same obligations and standards men are. The "Bait and Switch" is a prime example of this. Men commit on the promises made, not the promises kept. Men evaluate dying for a woman based on promises kept. If she's kept none of the promises made or obligations to a man, he's not dying for her. Why should he? She didn't value him enough to tell him the truth. How or why would she be able to value his LIFE?
@@marty_glenn I'm speaking from the vantage point of honorable men. He valued her life enough to plan, prepare, execute the advertise such preparation to accommodate her. More lightenen men make strides in being emotionally intelligent and what not however where is the obligation to the man? Passive acknowledgement of his provision doesn't cut it. Honorable men see and feel an obligation to women when romance is involved. That obligation has the value of her life baked into it as it is his view of her life's value that powers the obligation. He enjoys her because she's alive. A woman that treats that obligation with disrespect and/or doesn't sense an obligation to him doesn't value the man. That leads to erosion of or break of said obligation in that honorable man's mind. With no sure way to define and ensure there's an obligation to that man, he's got no reason to sacrifice himself since his life and all the elements therein never obligated her to him.
My two pennies ... As hard as it is to believe ... From 1965 - 2023 is enough time to understand and believe, exactly, what women have done with power. You can apply this power to whatever you want but know this: The single biggest movement(s) within society is/are: 1. The color of your skin should not determine your rights or freedoms 2. Women should have the same rights as men and be treated same and equal My only question(s): 1. How come the divorce rate is 60-80%? 2. Why are 80% of divorces started by woman? 3. Why are our prisons over-flowing with younger and younger men, combined higher levels of anger and frustration If from 1965 - 2023, woman have been given more power and equality, should the above mentioned questions be less and should there not be a visible decrease in all bad things related to men, men in power, since woman having more power and the right to vote would have made the necessary changes to society and family possible. ??? @marty_glenn we can attribute the rise of all drug addiction,$uicide, incarceration demographics/rates (and related crimes), welfare/social services participants statistics... directly to "no fault" divorce and the incentivisation of single motherhood and "family" court. Women are encouraged to marry a man, have multiple children, and then destroy all their lives for financial gain via child support and asset forfeiture. Women use the legal system to subvert a man and put him into financial bondage and coerce him through incarceration and character assassination should he refuse to comply. Over 80% of incarcerated individuals come from Single mother homes. Similar statistics for drug abuse and the other categories. Over 80% of educators are female, as are social workers. Not to mention that a Family Court Judge's retirement pension is directly related to the amount and rate of the child support money they issued during their tenure... in short... they are encouraged and incentivised to rule in favor of women and drain the finances of the man so that their retirement is nice and plush... but they don't want that fact to be known. I appreciate your content and viewpoint. As another INFJ (I know a lot of people say that) it's a shred of comfort knowing that another person views and analyzes the world as I do and makes me feel slightly more sane in the cognitive dissonance of this world and time.
