Kid is brilliant for sure. I heard once that he was in therapy and his therapist said “you should do comedy”...can you imagine Chrissy’s therapy sessions? Bananas 🍌
In a more serious interview he said the thing you had to know about his father was that wherever he was and whomever he met, he was the most liked person around. Even in his ex-wife's tony neighborhood he knew everybody, more people than she knew, and they all loved him. People are complicated. As for the skit about this that he did in a comedy club, I think his father probably lost God for what he did, not for what was done to him.
He admits a lot of the stuff he jokes about his father in an interview, is ACTUALLY about guys his father hung OUT with in Brooklyn . His dad was never a wise guy but his friends were
