It's not about how smart or intelligent a kid is. Children in these types of relationships are burdened beyond their age and forced to grow up fast, called "adultification". I am not entirely sure what's going on here but this is not even close to a normal mother/child relationship, it's more akin to siblings or distant female relatives you have over semi-regularly.

I always get so mad... people call north a brat for not wanting cameras and paparazzi! It's crazy! She is now 10(?) And people have really adultified her in their minds. Those kids are all going to have issues and have to deal with what their parents did or didn’t do for many years. I think of Whitney’s daughter and how young she was when she passed away. Selena also has other siblings on her father’s side that I don’t even think her dad allows her to post. I was even shocked to even see Gracie on Selena + Chef. I’m hoping the Kardashians become so irrelevant that the kids have a slight chance to not grow up so overexposed.
