In the beginning, there was nothing. No hope, no joy, nothing. The people were tired of Nintendos old ploy. The people found it too easy, the people found it too hard. It seemed as if there would never be a happy medium. But then, in a world of dismay, Mario Maker was born. Full of creativity, of passion, of hope, It was everyone’s need. It was everyone’s desire. It was everyone’s wish. No longer would the people of Nintendo suffer, as everything that they had hoped for was right at their fingertips! And this era of creativity would age like a fine wine! More people creating new types of levels! Music levels, hold right levels, kaizo levels, troll levels Don’t look up levels, don’t jump levels All of it, everything, everywhere, It was beautiful! These peoples unique and personal ideas We’re just what the world needed! If there wasn’t a level you wanted, Then you just created it! And the gods of Nintendo listened To their faithful citizens And carried out their requests There would be categories, multiplayer, online, local, world wide, downloads, all of the glory. It was unique. It was beautiful. It was… *perfect* . …But… If something can bring this much joy… …then it’s end is *guaranteed* … It would not be a rapture, There wasn’t a day, week, or even month When it all started to end. It wasn’t Nintendo’s fault. It wasn’t the people’s fault. It was nobody’s fault. The game was simply… *done* . The people had used up the last of their creativity, And nobody knew what to do. Things started to get repetitive. Old levels became predictable, And new ones were unimaginative. The game had simply… *run it’s course* . The more time passed, the less people played. Less people meant less creativity, Less creativity meant less fun, Less fun meant less people. It would come to the point, Where Mario maker isn’t popular. Nintendo had written countless love letters in form of updates and new modes, And we would write back with players and new levels. But… We simply went different ways. Leaving the game a hollow being of what it once was. It is a lie, a fraud, a fake. It still stands, but with nothing inside. A house with no doors, a chair with no legs, A city…with no people. What was once hundreds of thousands, Now is merely hundreds at best. Few souls wander the plains of the empty town. Some fighting with no competition to be the best, Others clinging on to what once was. These few souls are not lost, confused, or deranged. They know the path they have taken, and know where it leads. These people are committed. These people are loyal. These people are… *Gamers* .
