Great video! We are both in our 80's and are all about healthy aging. We believe that "moving is medicine!" Need to maintain a strong body, a calm mind, & a positive outlook. We're doing some research for our new healthy-aging advice RU-vid channel and hope to inspire others. Learned from you. TY
I have had these for several weeks ru-vid.comUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 and I have been really happy with them so far. I love being able to do a variety of workouts at home when I don't have time to make it to the gym. When paired with a basic bench, there are tons of different exercises and you can hit pretty much all major muscle groups. It is easy to adjust to your desired weight with the dials on each side. They slide in and out of the cradle smoothly. The only downside to this design vs the newer version, is that these are pretty wide. This does limit your range of motion with certain hand positions on certain exercises. Straight dumbbell press would be an example of this. I have to turn my hands slightly in order to bring them close enough together. Not a huge deal to me though. Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
I'm 60 and I have been trying to reclaim my health. I'm a cancer survivor and now that I'm retired Nurse and my children are all grown I'm in it to win it. I have made a lot of good changes to my lifestyle along with a membership to the YMCA where I swim. I've been sticking with the program as they say since January of this year. There are some days where I still do a lot for my family and grandchildren but I am up to working daily. I at the very least get in yoga and then excise moves that I learned clear back to the 80s. But every other day I weight train. This is great and I will be trying this out tomorrow. Thank you very much for sharing ❤❤
These moves are very handy, even when I’m feeling under the weather and can’t do a full workout I’ll still be able to do these movements to keep up consistency. 😊
These moves are being added to my workouts, thank you so much! Time savers are key in my life right now. Do you have anything like this for legs? Or abs? This channel is probably the best exercise channel on YT, everyone can find something here no matter the level of fitness or ability. And your pooch is such a bundle of joy 💕

I enjoy listening to your advice but I would love to follow you in a 30-45min workout everyday. I am working towards doing full push-up on my toes and I really get inspired following an “instructor” with various upper body strength workouts 😊.
Thanks! I don't offer follow alongs but do have fully laid out programs, including a push up progression in my Dynamic Strength program - redefiningstrength.com/dynamic-strength?sl=yc
Thank you so much for your videos. I am a lover of them. They have helped me tremendously. My problem area now is my stomach. I don't over eat and neither do I eat junk but I can't seem to tone my abs. I have had 5 surgeries and I am not sure if that is why I can't seem to tone it. Your advise will be so appreciated. Thank you.
your videos are so full of information, you're explaining everything so clearly and in a normal speed 😅 even a non English speaker like me can understand clearly, not like other videos that are so fast forward 😂 so thank you! I feel I can keep doing this🎉. I'd like to ask about tricep push ups - its hard for me to lean on my side...it hurts in my hips bone. can I put a pillow or is it not the same anymore? also If I only want to do those 3 exercises in the video what shuld i eat before and afterwards? thank you so much! Nava
Any recommendations for replacement in the meantime for those (to work Triceps, Obliques & Shoulders) for beginners who are not strong enough for the Tricep Pushup quite yet, but want to build to it. (Also have fibromyalgia (& tenosynovitis in my hands/wrists) so I have to take it at a slower pace.) Thanks!
Oh, cool, I'll try all these. I especially love the tricep pushup! I've never seen that before. Very cool. (batwings, lol). Your videos are always so great. Thanks, Redefining Strength!
I've seen the tricep push in one of Tamilee Webb's workout video called "I want that body" from early 2000s. She was famous in many workout videos in the 1990s, especially in some of the Buns of Steel series.
Awesome! Definitely needed to keep that functionality aspect as well as building strength and keeping muscles toned. Thank again, Cory! I always look forward to see your cute puppy at the end too 😉
Hi, your videos are very nice. You give good advice and efficient exercises. I am sure your explanation are useful but I don't understand everything as I am not fluent in english. It would be great to write it down. Thanks for your good work!
Great video I'm using a machine and not seeing much muscle definition.Im going to start doing these exercises also.Do you have any suggestions on trap exercises? Thank you
Thanks for this video! I love when you describe exactly what muscle groups are targeted in each exercise- it helps me understand an exercise and why I am doing it. I really love the information you provide. So grateful ☺️ PS I find the rear delts a bit mysterious still and struggle to find a solid mind-muscle connection with them, even after watching several videos on this and experimenting with multiple exercises. Maybe you have suggestions?
Hey, I have a limited ankle dorsiflexion and I can't squat beyond parallel and even going down there I need to engage a lot the posterior chain since I keep my shins almost vertical. So I tried following your videos about ankle mobility and every other video on that topic available on youtube, but I have a problem: I cannot do anything that directly or indirectly stretches my achille's tendons. Not only calf stretches, but also dorsiflexion mobility work. After some time it always results in achille's and/or plantar fascia pain. I fear that I will get a tendinopathy and I dare not venture too much in those exercises. Do you think it's normal at the beginning or do I have to resort to something else?
Hi, just a quick question. When I do the Dumbell external rotations, my arms go all tingly and numb, like my blood is being cut off. Is there something wrong with my form that's causing this? I keep a straight back and keep my elbows to my sides. I can do 6 of them before my arms go numb and I need to shake them out. Thanks x
I downloaded “Redefining Strength” app a while ago paying for the annual membership (thru May 2021) but it’s disappeared and unable to access via the App Store?
