In this video, we're going to explore the concept of mirroring and how it can help you understand if someone likes you for who you are. Mirroring is a subconscious act of reflecting back what you receive. This can be helpful in understanding if someone likes you for who you are, because they will likely mirror back some of your own characteristics. Please know that if you didn’t feel included because you are on the spectrum or neurodivergent, it doesn’t mean that you have not been loved or don’t show love. Listening intently, waiting for neurodivergent people to be expressed here and signs that they like us. It’s important to include everyone. I realize the norm might be harmed not seeing themselves like me I show interest and love completely with all my heart differently than most of these points.

I hear y'all. In my case, it's not even just the money. That's part of it, but they wanted me to be the catch-all, after they've been somewhat humbled, in terrible relationships. Need advice, discipline for your growing son, get you an interview, make sure your toxic ex doesn't kick in your door, fix your computer, anything, I'm on call. If I needed or wanted anything, too bad. I'm "just making it all about me".

As someone who struggles to find love in real life, learning to love yourself is a must. You can't love others if you feel guilty about yourself. I haven't given up on love just yet. I've learned to love myself, and take care of myself. Although I feel like time's running out, as the seasons and years keep on changing, and many people I know at my university have been dating for years. This makes it almost impossible to find one that would be interested in me.

So far, I will say "no" to this question. Absolutely no woman I have met romantically likes me for... well, me. The only time women actually liked me, was because of my looks (they all turned out to be creeps) or because of my abilities. As soon as they learn about my personality, they get turned off. I guess they expect the "bad boy" or something, but I'm definitely not the type. I like being more proper and I like to give a cool level-headed vibe, not an overconfident playboy vibe. I feel like most women want the bad boy type in my generation. I see all of the rude and obnoxious guys get dates, but the polite guys are the ones struggling to find anyone. It's awful how much hook-up culture ruined us. If I ever do meet a woman who actually cares about *me* that much, it will definitely feel like a magical dream at this rate. I'm not against that, though.

Dang, I don’t get all this love stuff sometimes, Because I have someone in my life who constantly is flirting with me whenever we see each other. She treats nobody else around me similarly. But at the same time when we aren’t together in person she acts so distant. But she did something similar a year ago showing interest but then ghosted me. But in that year I had a glow up and feel much more confident in myself as a person. So then she just re-entered my life like a month ago out of nowhere. Part of me just wants to leave the whole situation and have some self respect for my past self. Then the other half of me knows that I still like her. IDK what to do

@@Psych2go this is just my take on it but I think even before the pandemic people haven't been out going probably due to internet cell phones ect, but after pandemic people have really turtled up, more stress in the world then usual, also dating is insane with the hookup culture, it's all done with apps now :c people don't seem to keen on bond building relationships like they use to. I really like the videos. It really helps me a lot to understand other people and me. But I still have major problems when I have to interact with other people due to my diagnosed autism and allround very introverted personality. I'm always looking for a reason why people do what they do and why I do what I do. These videos and some psychology books really help me to Futur explore myself and others. But I still have a long way to go. Edit: And yes due to my problems I have at interacting with people and some bad things that happened in my life... I normally keep a very safe distance to others. I don't talk that mutch and when I do I want to make it as short as possible. I think this comes because I don't want to be rejected. And this is a big twist in my brain. I would really like to get close to people but on the other hand im happy to life in the shadow. I would really like to change that but... for some reason I'm okay with it.

There is nothing wrong with not being liked. When you are hated is when things can get very negative for us. In order to assure nobody hates me. I disallow others from knowing me at all. Thus, I am not liked. I am not loved. But, more importantly, I am not hated. That is the only thing I require from others. Approval from others means nothing to me. However, I must avoid being hated. Bad things happen to those that are hated.

@@nat2103 Not much happened during my dad's time. But with the self entitlement of today, it can get as ugly as murder, today. Usually it just comes down to cruelty and violence, though. That is still very undesireable. It is better to be unliked and unknown. If you are liked, that comes with its own negatives, as well. Anonymity is bliss.

Hey Psych2Go, I was wondering what this means. My boyfriend and I have been in a (mostly) happy relationship for almost 13 years. We started dating in highschool. The first couple years of our relationship were kinda rocky. Long story short, I was being too clingy and he was not used to so much affection and got very overwhelmed and angry when I would be upset that he didn't want to spend time with me. We had a big fight about it. Fast forward 11 years and we almost never have any drama. If there's a problem we discuss it and listen to each person's point/ side of the argument. We never fight. Both our parents don't get along very well i.e. my mom and dad fight a lot and get very heated and loud and his parents fight quite a bit and are petty (they don't fight as much as mine though). I've been wondering if I've just been going along with everything he says to avoid a fight or if we genuinely get along that well. I think I'm not sure because I've always grown up with the idea of a relationship supposing to look like my parents relationship. I want to say we genuinely get along well, and I don't always agree with everything he says just to appease him. I guess I'm just skeptical that I could have such a loving happy relationship. This is also my first real relationship.

It kinda hurts that I show all of these signs to the full extent to my partner, but they don't show nearly as much. Maybe its because I tend to be more empathetic and sincere(around them, I'm normally not very open AT ALL-but I feel completely different around them lol) while they tend to be more blunt and emotionally(they have anger issues-while I'm rarely ever angry). I'm just hoping that I'm over thinking, even though I know I am lol.

This reminds me of my crush (she was into me too ) when i was 2-3 and she was too.
