Majority of the rides have an ebb and flow to their wait times. The exceptions are velocicoaster and hagrid's. During epa, people flood to hagrid's like its black friday. They consistently have an hour+ wait during park hours. You may get lucky with a 45 min wait on velocicoaster, but it's much less frequent.
@@fudge_factor And the problem is if you're staying at a hotel and use the shuttle bus, buses start running at 7:00. And unless you're on the very first bus and it actually leaves exactly at 7:00, you're at disadvantage. Since you still have to get through security and walk through city walk. I'd rather get multiple rides on velocicoaster with epa than rush to hagrid's.
My name is Craig Dennis i watch your both new videos all the time and i in joy all of your both videos all the time and you both have a nice safe Memorial Day👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yall have had some helpful videos the past few months that helped me plan. Took a group of nine guys for a bachelor party on May 23rd. The group had a great time. No epa. But the express passes are a must for both parks in one day.
@fudge_factor We made it on most rides except for Hagrids, which was delayed the last three hours of the day. Skipped F&F and Kimmels rides because I had seen such bad reviews. Skipped the Simpsons ride as well. If I can help yall at all to continue informing others, I'd say in the park bag, every group of 3+ should have Dramamine, collapsible water cups, room for phones, space for socks, inexpensive lanyards, gum, hats, sunglasses and Tylenol. Velocicoaster was a really great experience. I disliked how they changed the Hulk since I was on it 7 years ago (they changed the storyline behind the ride). All three water rides are so different and one of the best things about Universal, I wish more channels would cover them more in-depth. Spiderman and the mummy are truly fantastic rides. If a big group goes to Universal, especially for a special reason, have them go on ET, have each one in the party say that special persons name to the worker, to increase the chances ET says their name at the end of the ride. We had all 9 people say our buddies name, and ET said it three times in a row. We are all mid-30s, and we still found it hilarious. If you do another video on the Harry Potter areas, let your viewers know that they need more than one day. Doesn't matter party size. Those areas are such a great experience and shouldn't be rushed through. Sorry for the long message. I thought it was all important info to know, though.
That’s all great feedback!! We love that! We want everyone to have a great time at universal so the more feedback from people the better! We have the curse of knowledge sometimes, so it’s always good hear other peoples inputs! ☺️☺️
Went last month, planning on getting on Hagrid's, but I didn't get in line until about 7:30, and by then, it was backed up to the bridge. Didn't get into the park until 8:15 (super busy for a week day). Rode Velocicoaster (front row all the way, baby!), got to Three Broomsticks around 8:35, and sat outside and watched Velocicoaster go by. My favorite way to do EPA. If I don't get there right around 7, Hagrids is out. I'll do it later in the day when the line gets between 75-85 minutes.
Always❤. Even if things don't always go perfectly (like when I went yesterday and the temperature was like the surface of the sun, and I accidentally pulled the cap of my Freestyle cup off in the locker, drenching one side of my bag😅), Universal is one of my favorite places in the world.🎢🥨🥐
If Starbucks is your flavor there are a few options, depending on your route. Aventura also has a Starbucks that opens at 6am and the line would likely be a little shorter just based on occupancy. The Starbucks in Citywalk opens at 7am. If you're open to New Dutch Trading Co at sapphire falls that opens at 6am.
I travel with someone who works nights. That, coupled with time zone change, means I have never been to rope drop. We got out of the hotel once right at rope drop time, so we spent most of EPA in line to get in, which was fine! We went to Studios, had some fun, bopped over to IOA later when a lot of people who rope dropped were heading to Studios. Had a great time!
@fudge_factor first time we traveled together...yes! Last time (this past Dec. We went the week of the mini meetup), no...we couldn't enjoy anything in diagon....IT WAS SO CROWDED! We went in a couple times because we had a first timer with us, but I, the die hard Harry Potter fan, couldn't enjoy it. I ran to Gregorovitch to get the special edition wand. That was about it. It was packed all week! (And we were leaving the day of the first full meet-up night, so next trip will be planned around a meet up, for sure)
Woah, I'm surprised they let you take the giant insta360 selfie stick with you! I was planning on taking a trip to Florida soon and I have the standard-length tripod + selfie stick stand. Does security or staff at the parks have any issues with you using the selfie stick like that? Have you ever been rejected from entering the parks with it, I'd hate to take it only to be told I can't bring it into the parks.
It collapses down to about a foot and change or so. Honestly, it comes down to being a good steward with it. We’ve never had any issues in the parks. We won’t get too close to rides or do things that would ever be unsafe and just follow Universal’s rules. We usually just shoot ourselves walking from A to B with it honestly
