I wish your video had been about 6 weeks ago. I had repotted one of my best chinese elms. Went on holiday confident my watering system would cope with the heat. Everything did fine except my elm. It must have been due to my repotting it. Unfortunately to far gone to rescue.😢 I love your videos they are very instructive Thank you from the UK

Hi I had the same problem with my Azalea last summer we had a very hot spell as you described with yours the tree seemed alright when we went into a bad winter and just gradually went down hill, no matter what I tried the tree wouldn’t respond so eventually there was no hope of it being saved, all I can assume is along with other trees in my collection they went into winter weak but looked fine at the start of the winter season, I’d checked the roots to see if I could work out why but all the fibrous roots had died, other people in the U.K. had similar loses I believe. I like your soil mixture Mr. Chang. The "Sandy Loam" component that you use, I understand you get yours from your property or farm. For someone who doesn't have direct access to sandy loam, is there a general product that can be bought that is similar?
