This goes everyone getting out. Use the freaking GI Bill! Use the GI Bill on a good major that is going to lead to a skill. Collect GI Bill checks and live below your means.

It’s crazy watching this video and the similarities. I got out of active duty Navy November of 2020, went reserves January of 2021. Was living with my long term girlfriend at the time. Best friend unexpectedly passed away and it took a massive toll on me, girlfriend broke up with me and I was at my lowest for sure. Another childhood friend passed away as I was moving out, and I just panicked and went active duty with the Army January of this year. Like you, I realized I didn’t give myself enough time and went to BH. Realized I never addressed or faced my issues, get evaluated for medboard to be told no, now getting an admin chapter, another childhood friend passed away about 2 months ago and at this point, I just want out. I got to Carson back in August and the leadership has been pretty bad, and given how my case is being handled, I should’ve given myself more time as a civilian.

When u get out of the army have a plan and join the reserves because they have full time school and and training u can do and get paid and they have full time jobs u can do like agr and fts and army reserves gs jobs u can do they is also army reserve/national guard jobs that pay hourly
